I'm not an Aussie. :) I don't even understand cricket, and from what I've seen of it, it's terribly boring. However the point of a game is to win. They didn't do anything against the rules, and they won the game, so it was smart play. QED.

Now with that last pitch, the Offence has one chance to smack that mother focker

out of the field. If he does that, both teams will draw.

Now imagine if instead of throwing a spin-pitch or whatever you call it, the person pitching

instead rolls the ball along the ground, hence not even giving the Offence a chance to hit it.
