Do you love me do you need me Its time to make up your mind Do you love me do you need me Oh please dont leave me blind - I know you would be mine Theres a time, too much time I cant wait no longer Theres a love, too much love Ill catch you, wait no longer Theres a time and love I dont care if you dont Dont do what you do (If I stay) Do you love me, do you need me Really love me as I did and as I will Really lovely, really need me I will never leave behind all the feelings when youre mine
Wow one of my all time favorite radio songs. After it stopped airing ended up searching for either a cassette or CD album containing it for years (eventually finding one by the late 90's).
brilliant track. most definitely the style is italo disco, but it was recorded in geneva (studio de chevrens) and i think the songwriter and producer are either french or swiss.
Hmm, so far everyone I know who's familiar with the song says "Time and Love" is the title while "Tea for Two" is the artist. Besides, if you listen carefully to the lyrics just before the chorus you can hear the line "There's a Time and Love"
I've compared the image of the album label shown here against a number of other 12" album singles (12" Vinyl records), and from what I've seen, the biggest text on that label other than the Record Company's name is the Artist Name, and the next largest text is the Song Name (or if they're the same font size, the text that appears above is the Artist Name). So from that logic, "Tea for Two" is the Artist Name, and "Time and Love" is the Song Name.
@gaijinkokusai So you mean all these compilation CD's that have the song out in record bars are getting it wrong? They all list "Time and Love" as the title and "Tea for Two" as the band.
@sailorenlil@sailorenlil try to look at what's written in the vinyl records it says "TEA FOR TWO" followed by the name of composer and then (RADIO VERSION)... If the name of the singer is tea for two why is it that they put the word (radio version) below it. and besides this song was one of my favourites during my highschool days
@gaijinkokusai Well I dug up one of my compilation CDs that has the song ("Best of Dance Classics 70's and 80's", under Universal Records Philippines, a former affiliate of Time Warner, so it's not a pirated CD), and the track entry has the title as "Time and Love" and the artist as "Tea For Two", and written by G. Degilles. (eg another track in the compilation is "Tonight" by Ken Lazlo, listed in the same format)
@sailorenlil well let me just remind you that during the 80's CD's are not available yet so i would suggest that you should base your research on the original vinyl records. All your CD compilations are just a reproduction sometimes people got confused and put the wrong information. I grew up in the 80's and my cousin used to have a mobile disco system way back then and together we were the ones operating the said mobile system. by the way the record label was TIM TAM Records.
Sa wakas! Nahanap ko na itong ingay sa LoveBus.
