I love it. So cool to hear a soprano sing it; now I'm debating getting up the courage to ask my teacher about singing this myself.

It's a wonderful performance, but you should Ian Bostridge sing it....brilliant!

No, I actually own the CD, but I put it up for sale, I don't like Ian Bostridge at all, he lacks heart and soul imho.

i don't know. his technique really can't compare to the great names. but i think his voice's timbre is really attractive... i guess, i'm weird

@mutewoman well, to each his own. so much of what one likes is subjective. I disagree with you about Bostridge. But, everyone has their own tastes. And that's ok.

Best "Winterreise" ever... It was meant to be sung by a woman. Nice photo too. "Doch an den Fensterscheiben / Wer malte die Blaetter da?"

Best Winterreise for now. Werner Güra is singing it now, too. I'll hear him next week. Then we'll know. It was written for a tenor :)
