Near doesn't EXPLAIN HOW he knew that Light used a notebook clipping. He wasn't there in the car with Light when he did it.
Mikami only wrote Takada's name one minute later, so what, did they know that Takada's death couldn't have been caused by Mikami because they could somehow tell the fire was ONE MINUTE's WORTH larger, so Light must've done it?

well i think light won if it was 1 vs 1 but he had much smart people fighting against him so he died but he was smarter than L and if it was 1 vs 1 to N he had won too but yeah its an anime and i like that he lost coz he was main character. wahahahaha
@mtndrew24 In the Manga Light died differently. Ryuk wrote his name down and Light died in the warehouse and he was freaking out begging Ryuk not to kill him..... I think It's been awhile since I've read the Manga.
@AngelKittenVicki Remember L didn't know that it was the notebook that killed people till the Yotsuba arc. Even then he killed L and would have won if Mikami would have been a good boy and done what his 'God' told him to.

In the manga, Near admits that his main weakness was his inactivity.

@Sitzftw That's true, when i was watching the last episode i was already thinking ''oh god this situation means Light's plan didn't work'' and it made me angry as well because like you said Light is a genius. Planning things this far, writing a fake rule to convince L he is innocent and making think Near that Mikami that he was still writing in the real one. Even though that one failed, i would have never thought of that in my life.

@Sitzftw haha i didn't i was always against Kira from the begining i was for L but even when he died i was for Near then.Kira is not justice and i really wanted That they beat Kira and im glad that they did.
