Can someone look inside the fuselage of their commander 2 and tell me where the red wire that comes from the motor, solders to the circuit board? Mine has come lose (probably a crummy solder job) and I'm not sure where it's supposed to go. I think I know but not sure. A close up digital photo would be even better. Thanks in advance
They are good begginer planes. If you but one you should also buy spare parts as well, especially an extra wing or two. I would also reccomend and extra battery pack and some rubberbands for the wing. Mine took a beating and it held up good until i had to replace the tail section. When i finally got it on, it never flew straight again.
I have one, but we lost the battery pack and I'm fixing it up now, but they're INCREDIBLY easy to fly. Very simple take off, they're quite sturdy, and they'll last ages if you can land them well.
i had the firebird IIST for about one week until i lost it over a fence at our neightbor hood runway. i tried to bring it back but it was so far all you could see was a tiny tiny dot
Don't get the 2-channel version, it's a pain to learn.
It always flips on even cut grass and the tail is so light that it doesn't want to lift off when doing a wheel takeoff. (Lack of elevator control)
