this movie blew me away when i saw it... its a beautiful story that really takes you by surprise... I did not get the oppurtunity to read the book and I'd like to eventually, but I very much enjoyed the movie.. definately see it but its not for the faint of heart, there is a lot to swallow with this film..

@rscard119 if you have not read the book just to warn you it is not at all like the movie. I much prefer the movie's twist on things. The book is super depressing and there isn't much redemption within the characters so if you really loved the movie forego the book.

I am currently reading the book, so far its wonderful. More detailed than the movie, I was so excited to find it a book as well, usually movies don't have a base comparrassion to books, but as far as I can recollect, they did an excellent job on character and setting alike.
