  • Great video, love the clear instructions. Beautiful soap. Now I'm not afraid to try it. Thank you. Looking forward to more of your videos. Keep up the good work.

  • @marjs29 Thanks so much for your great comment! I also have a French Mill Tutorial that's even more detailed. You can find this on Etsy (Ultimateorganicsoap) if you need some extra help. I wish you all the best of luck!

  • I thought french milled soap was a rolling process??

  • @gretcha73 - this is originally how French Milling started. Now it is a term that has evolved to include remelting. Thanks for asking!

  • Love it! Thank you for this. I am going to try it today!

  • hi nicole.

you should be a professional video maker!

You are fantastic,so simple and easy.

    Please load more videos

  • @natashaqueer Thanks so much - there is another video on the way.... but it's a bit slow in the final preparations. It's coming.... it's coming....

  • can you use ivory soap as the base?

  • @beckiebenoit40 as far as I know all soaps can be melted down. If you purchase commercial soaps for this, this is better known as rebatching. Many people do this, and while I don't have experience with this (I have not used commercial soaps in years) there is a lot of information out on the web about it. Good luck!

  • Sorry its not worth the time invested. Ill stick to cp and melt and pour much faster and you dont! destroy any oils u add because it is incorperated with in the soap and you add more fats and oils once the soap is readly to pour.

  • @BareHerbalBubbles @BareHerbalBubbles I'm so sorry for any confusion. You are quite correct that added oils are NOT destroyed. I was referring to additional ingredients such as herbs, spices and flowers. Seaweed, for example, is completely destroyed by the saponification process. And since I use ingredients direct from nature, this is pretty important.

  • I think I might add some Vanilla extract to mine.....

  • @gamemeister27 -- That would be a great idea - Vanilla extract is hard to find in my part of the country, so I am using whole vanilla pods in some of my rose soaps. They look great.

  • how much EO do you add in? Do you add less than if it was cold process soap?

  • @jarani8 -- I usually use 5 - 7 ml of EO's in my batches. You can no doubt use more, but I like to keep my soaps from smelling too much.

  • I really enjoyed this video! You have inspired me to try to make some myself for the very first time. Please tell me how you make your bases so that I can too.

    Thank you and for sharing!

  • These look fantastic! I look forward to purchasing in the future. Look out for a youtube review!

  • Great!!!!!

Loads of info, fun and great music!!!

  • I don't get it. what's the point of making it and grating it and boiling it and molding it? to add more air?

  • It makes it more compact (lasts much longer than regular CP soap) and any addition ingredients are not destroyed as there has not been any chemical/saponificiation process.

  • I would really like to see the first video on how to make soap out of Olive oil & Sunflower oil!!!

  • This is my next idea....

  • Absolutely great! Well done!
