Political "flip-flops" not necessarily a bad thing

I agree that politicians should change their stance on certain issues if something is not working out, but they won't tell you up front they were wrong as that would not be the perfect testimonial to their image in this game we call politics. election 08' is a popularity contest and a lie convention.

I fundamentally agree with what you are saying but I strongly believe that these politicians should not disclose any type of issue until they have their minds made up on what is right in the first place. Would it not anger you if your doctor had diagnosed you with lung cancer and told you a week later that it was actually heart disease?
