This is a really good instrumental release. There are a few moments where I'm turned off as a listener but for the most part I enjoy Mr. Artusato's music

On topic, this is some really awesome shit. In terms of composition and skill, doesn't come close to Abasi, Petrucci or Loomis, but in his own right, very good. I get a Petrucci vibe from his solos and his triplet runs, which is a good thing. I hope he releases another solo album because it rocks.

I just found out this guy has only been with All Shall Perish since 2010, and hasn't yet appeared on any of their records. Not that it matters or anything, but it just makes the whole "guitarist from All Shall Perish" thing kind of weird...
well if you listen to the drums in this song, each cymbal hit on the same cymbal is the same exact sound. maybe quieter, but on a real cymbal no two hits sound that similar due to reverb. cymbals have to ring out and if they are hit before then the sound is a little sloppy, hence some live metal drummers owning 9 billion cymbals.
anyways, cymbals are the simplest way to figure out if its fake drums or not.

Tosin is a virtuoso of which harbors a talent so immense and a playing style so immaculate that His compositions are literally pushing the envelope to a whole new level. I don't understand how a beautiful song such as 'Behaving Badly' or intense licks such as the intro of CAFO can be called lame.

well if you listen to the drums in this song, each cymbal hit on the same cymbal is the same exact sound. maybe quieter, but on a real cymbal no two hits sound that similar due to reverb. cymbals have to ring out and if they are hit before then the sound is a little sloppy, hence some live metal drummers owning 9 billion cymbals.
anyways, cymbals are the simplest way to figure out if its fake drums or not.

This is fantastic guitar wizardry, with a great deal of emotion and feeling in MOST of the riffs, but it's lacking structure. The song makes me feel, but I don't what I'm supposed to feel, or where it's going.
Either way, it's still brilliant, but it could have been spectacular.
Looking forward to hearing more :)
