@dlstb no i don't follow every order i am given i have a breaking point but when a simple request of returning to your car can't be followed and he told her multiple times to do so...what do you expect the officer to do? allow her to continue disobeying his orders and perhaps become violent. you were not in that situation therefore neither of us could assume what the officer felt at that point in time, maybe he felt threatened or maybe he became enraged and overreacted.

Honestly that officer was lucky that the mother didn't have a Glock in the glove compartment. I don't think this is police brutality, if you get out of your vehicle without a cop asking you to do so, what are they going to think? "I'm about to get attacked". People are crazy and unpredictable. She needs to learn to follow basic instructions, like "get back in your vehicle". In my opinion, are you are not following their instructions and doing some crazy shit, they have every right to taze you. Better that your ass be tazed than them taking the chance of being shanked.

Unfortunate incedent but the cop was in the right. You can't just get out of your car and start making demands and expect them to be met. As for you trying to get back in your car after you've been told your under arrest, well that is like a child who is told to obey and doesn't do so until after the 3 count. It's basics; you don't get take backs, your an adult you should have set a better example for your children. Next time don't try using your children as shields.... do better.

@hunsuj what do u think they train them to do? when forcefully telling someone to get back in the car doesnt work they are resisting. you can get arrested for that in all 50 states. its alright if you think he was to brutal, bet next time she will do every thing the cop says and who cares if her kids are their. she should try to set the example and do it the right way, shut your mouth take the ticket and if wanted fight it in court not with the officer in uniform.

In my opinion we r getting too comfortable with letting people tell us how we should live. You have to wear a seatbelt in your own car...you now can't even use pick what kind of light bulb you want. No doubt, we need law enforcement and we need rules...but at what point are our freedom being taken? For instance, challenging "authority" for proof u were speeding?
