  • What song is this?

  • i wish i could have seen them live.... whenever they come round again i'm definitely going. :)

  • 'Twas a religious experience :) Thanks for sharing your footage

  • yeah, this truly was one of the highlights of all the concerts I've ever seen. The crowd was completely silent, for so many thousands of people... everyone was so emotional.... I really started to cry at one point, it was so beautiful.

  • Deep

  • I will never forget that day, best trip in san francisco i ever had

  • Best concert I´ve ever seen. The sound was perfect.Radiohead is unique

  • radiohead = epic win

  • should have started the festival a little earlier and spread out the sets so you can see most of the bands playing that day. i saw cold war kids, beck, and finally radiohead! it was awesome.

  • my brain was SO fried

    radiohead is so sychadelic

  • psychadelic rather

  • RELIGIOUS FUCKING EXPERIENCE.

  • Thumbs UP TO EVERYONE WHO WAS THERE!!!

  • this was the second song of the night! it followed 15 step beautifully

  • Seems like I got the same vibe from everyone. Open atmosphere. I went there with just one really cool female friend. Had the BEST fricken time. I can't even explain! Radiohead is something everyone needs to experience as many times as possible in their lives. I saw them again just a few days later in Chula Vista. Always mind blowing! Thank you for this great video! Check out mine. I got a few decent shots.

  • I agree with you entirely...something not of this earth!!!

  • Thanks for the great video. So many people were still buzzing after the show. I took the Muni back with some buddies, and on the ride back, had an awesome conversation with a really cool gal from Cambria and her brother. They'd also seen Radiohead and agreed it was amazing, we talked about other stuff like The Dark Knight, Watchmen, Alan Moore. I dropped the ball and didn't even get her Facebook. Hmmm. This has now become me using Youtube comments as a Missed Connections. God bless the internet!

  • Thanks for this video -- such a great show. Lots of fellow concertgoers were still buzzing even hours afterwards. We took the Muni back, and I had an awesome conversation with a really cool gal from Cambria and her brother. We got to talking about the Dark Knight and Watchmen and Alan Moore. Anyway, I dropped the ball and didn't even get her Facebook.

Hmmm. Have other people used Youtube Comments as a "Missed Connections" before? God bless the internet and late night wine sessions!

  • amazing festival and amazing band. one of the best live bands ever. in my opinion they totally nailed reckoner live. i kinda wish they would have fit creep somewhere into the setlist but it was still a mindfuck of a concert

  • creep sucks and radiohead hates it. they will never play it live

  • thank you for posting this--the show was amazing!!

  • I was on a semi-truck outside the fence listening from about 1/2 mile away -- and it was STILL the best show of my life.

  • i was there

  • they were great that night. unfortunately, my camera died into the first song, so if any other radiohead fan could send me video/pics of the show, i'd be really thankful. thanks

  • oh shoot i think i see my self up there in the front. yep thats me!!!!!!!!!!!

  • paid for the first day and snuck into the second two days cause it was so damn easy... best weekend of my life. its all about the lsd

  • my roommate did the same thing. the people checking tickets didnt give a fuck.

in hind sight i wish i had only paid for Friday as well.

  • it was a great show, but so crowded

  • dude, I hate to say this. I respect Radiohead for their musicianship. However, the gouging for this concert was a little extreme. For a band that got big with the song "Creep", it's almost hypocritical that they will always gouge with 100 for general admission, VIP tix for 600, and cabanas for 25000. the people who pay this to be seen at these shows are the people who don't fit the mold unless you're stretching to see it. I've seen a show with 100000 people and it was cheaper.

  • Well...this was a festival with multiple bands. So by that logic $100 is worth seeing a few acts and the best band in the living, breathing world. "Creep" was made 15 years ago. This band has changed and evolved into something bigger than anyone expected; during which time your wallet probably shrank.

  • eh, I feel the same way about Coachella. I LIKE the groups that were playing. But sometimes, for the effort you don't get to see everyone you want to see. They should just sell tickets per stage. The REALLY high ticket prices umbrella band coverage looks like a show of arrogance, it seemed like people paid to be at a scene and to be seen. Not for the tunes. btw, I probably outearn you. :o) I personally make over twice I did when RH first came out. Still wouldn't pay the cover.

  • The real draw was Radiohead. If you get to see other bands like The Cold War Kids or Beck, that is gravy. Well worth $100, not to mention two full hours of RH tunes with some of the sweetest lighting and sound setups I have ever seen. The limited security allowed everyone to drink and smoke pot. It was an awesome festival day.

  • if you have the money, i would definitely go to a big fest sometime. maybe not coachella because i know bands overlap like mad over there, but at outside lands i only missed 1 band i wanted to see and i was watching people from the minute bands played till the minute they stopped every day. weed + alcohol + good people + mindblowing performance from radiohead + insane sets from others = well worth it. i'd pay 1000+ to do this weekend even somewhat over again

  • I only went to day one and regretted not going Saturday. The people were a lot more respectful/involved than at Coachella and the environment was smaller/more relaxed. A great first try for a festival like this.

  • Great weed,,,,great people I met that night,,,great atmosphere.

  • this was 80$ ....

  • over a $100 with presale, delivery and handling. And those were the cheap tix.

  • well... I payed 80$ and not a cent more.

  • multiple bands played, it was a good deal overall.

  • while it was irritating having people hold up their cameras and phones during the whole show, i have to say that i am glad you did because it is great to hear this again. :)

  • I kinda agreed with you until some time ago :). But concert videos are always viewed/commented by the ones that have been present there - which means that the people look for these images as soon as they get home. Good to re-feel the atmosphere!

  • This show was amazing. I'm still kind of in awe that I was there at all.

  • this was an awesome show.never seen that many people in one place at the sametime in my life, truly amazing.

  • I get like a school girl when I think about it. I can't believe I actually saw them.

  • omg!! I was ther! Radiohead was amazing! mano chao whatever did suck!! and i agree... same crap sounding songs! but radiohead.. omg!! eargasm!!!

  • so fucking crowded

  • 60,000 people there. ridic. it was a great show

  • the show looks like it was so amazing... thank you for posting the whole song =] it's my favorite

  • fucking awesome.. radiohead was incredible last night. thanks 4 posting it.

  • we lost the sound twice..but overall it was an amazing experience

  • man the was the greatest concert ever, well the first band was alright and the manu chao sucked, it sounded like they played the same song over and over again.. but it was worth waiting for Radiohead, they were fucking amazing.. thanks for posting this

  • YES

  • i lucked out with the whole train bus fiasco, i found someone headed for the same place i was and got a ride, so all in all the concert was beautiful, except for the old guy on E dancing next to me haha

  • I was at the show yesterday, so amazing. I had a good spot :) What's the name of that song please?

  • Reckoner

  • Radiohead was awesome, and so was Manu Chao, but I agree with what other people here said in the organization was kinda crappy. It was impossible to get between sutro and lands end after cold war kids because of the choke point they made. Busses between GG Park & BART were a complete mess, it was probably a good thing the last trains were 20 minutes late thanks to debris in the tube, though I wouldn't be too shocked if there were still some people stranded.

  • I agree. The show was amazing but the sound went out twice! And the MUNI broke down. Busses were maxxxed out. BART was fine but their were definitely damned choke points and the entrances wee not marked. Horrible planning.

  • It took me two hours to get from 19th avenue back to western addition. The buses were all packed and all the cab companies were busy. Thank god for my legs and a drunken will.

  • It took me 4 hours to get there because of the amount of ppl but it was so incredibly worth it because i made it just in time for radiohead. They made everything better. ah!

  • I love Radiohead. I wanted to go to this concert but I have no money =/

  • i know i'm bitching, but it was ridiculous. so badly organized. because the lineup was definitely weaker aside from friday, they didn't sell enough tickets for the other 2 days, so they oversold this one. it was mad getting there, being there, and getting out of there. and to top it off, beck played at the same exact time as the black keys! don't they know the demographic of SF? the crossover of fans for those 2 bands is obvious, so to try to cram that all in on friday, was weak.

  • FRONT ROW BABY WOOOOOOOOO

but yeah that shit was gay, it was the first outside lands though so maybe its understandable?

  • what a fucking huge disappointment. radiohead were great, but outside lands dropped the ball. the sound to cut out completely, leaving people in the back who couldn't see, totally deaf, for about 2 minutes each time. and it happened twice! it totally ruined "all i need". at least 20,000 people were booing. and the overall sound was horrid. you wouldn't hear jonny or ed's guitars, and then they'd come blasting in. totally distracting. i'll bet there were probably 60,00 to 80,000 people there.

  • I feel like i was next to you, I had the same view, and I was pissed in "All I Need"

  • It was a good show.

  • Dam, I wish I could have been there. I live in Daly City which is right next to SF, but my legs in a cast so i couldn't go. Life sucks!

  • i know man i wish i couldve been there too! i live in pacifica, right next to daly city. but the tickets were so damn expensive!

  • thom said the sound problems were because they didn't have time to set up.

aka, outside lands messed something up and he wasn't about to rant about it.

it was just 2 sound breaks, the 2 hour show was great and those moments were EASILY forgotten.

  • I really needed "All I need" - I kinda admitted it was not their fault when I deleted those moments from my camera - they should not be remembered

  • dang, i missed the show and i had nothing to do today.

  • You also missed some bad sound breakdowns. "All I Need" looked like a public studio rehearsal because of that - they were playing but nothing could be heard
