Not only that, but he hated doing Paraniod, Children of the Grave, and Iron Man in the Blizzard sets...I'm an old fan of Sabbath. Randy wasn't.

I love the cleaned up tribute version 1000 times better than this. He sounds like he's having an off night which being a guitar myself is completely understandable. Randy was one of the best though...that tribute album is sick.

Saw the same show on 2/20/82 in Dallas. Will forever be the best show I have ever seen or ever will see. Nobody has even come close to the "magic" that this band had live. Simply awesome ear candy. Thanks for posting it!
This is Definitely Randy. I think what's confusing some people is the tone. It says it's taken from the soundboard which make it sound more harsh. Some of the licks he plays in the solo though are identical to what he played on the version that's on "Tribute".

Randy was incredible...but Iommi's solo on the original is THE solo. This isn't even close really. and stfu with any negativity bullshit..I saw RR with Ozzy twice. The day I heard the news of his death still saddens me to this very day. I had tickets to a third concert to see him but it was cancelled and they rescheduled, Bernie Torme was the guitar player for three weeks with Ozzy. My friends and I left halfway through because it was just too depressing not to see Randy up there with Ozzy.

This is Definitely Randy. I think what's confusing some people is the tone. It says it's taken from the soundboard which make it sound more harsh. Some of the licks he plays in the solo though are identical to what he played on the version that's on "Tribute".

Yup this is Randy. He's using his flanger right here. And no one else who played with ozzy played the Db5 power chord and then picked the B and E strings. That's definitely something only Randy would do

Randy played some of the Black Sabbath songs LIVE with Ozzy. Paranoid and Children of The Grave being a couple. Maybe more.
Having said that, someone correct me on this statement but this does NOT sound like Randy Rhoads. I know Randy's style and sound VERY well and this does not sound like him. Not calling anyone a liar. I'm just saying.

Randy was incredible...but Iommi's solo on the original is THE solo. This isn't even close really. and stfu with any negativity bullshit..I saw RR with Ozzy twice. The day I heard the news of his death still saddens me to this very day. I had tickets to a third concert to see him but it was cancelled and they rescheduled, Bernie Torme was the guitar player for three weeks with Ozzy. My friends and I left halfway through because it was just too depressing not to see Randy up there with Ozzy.

i was fortunate to have seen randy live and the other guitarist ozzy played with with and Brad Gillis was by far the best. But they are all good. And im from Randys home town and he is burried here. San Bernardio CA..just in case you dont know.
