Dude! U have NO idea how many times I came to check out your vids for tips on how to get thru Hardcore mode! But I gotta say YOU MISSED THE ADV SUIT!! w/ 50% less stasis recharge time, 25 invt. slots & 25% armor...really came in handy for me. I 1st saved in Chp 5 then again in Chp 10! You Dominated the elevator sequence in Chp11...I lucked out BIG TIME! But You Are Awesome! Much Power To You Player!!

Awesome video, job well done. I think the drill bit is an absolute bitch though. a good tip i read about with the lurckers is standing still. the movement of the drill is enough to place in between the barbs. it works best when they are beside you though. if they are in front you can still get hit.

Soo i've made my 2nd save mid point in chapter 9... First off am i doing alright?? i mean i know i could've saved later than ch 9 but a close encounter of near death by an exploder really made me cautiously save here.

Secondly where do u think would be best for my final save? i'd like to do it after the drill sequence, is that ambitious??

It seems as though the Force Gun is the best for the elevator scene. I use the Line Gun, Plasma Cutter, and then I have two open spaces... I think I'll use the Force Gun throughout the game too?

I don't get what the big deal with the force gun is...I cleared that elevator without taking a hit using the Contact Beams alt fire. It was upgraded to have a stasis effect too. I'm sure if I bothered to upgrade my force gun it'd actually do something lol

@sbickmore95 Its the best crowd control weapon imho. Put whole groups down then wreck em with the alt fire. Contact beam is good though

I died at the elevator as well... My problem was that my force gun couldn't fire fast enough... might add a couple nodes to speed it up for these type of battles.

Iv nearly done the game on zealot, i might have to playthrough again on hardcore but its really hard on zealot so im guessing hardcore will take a while to do

@DangerDoom901 I did hardcore first then zealot. If u play on hardcore first you get the handcannon and will basically run through zealot in no time. I cleared zealot in 4,5 hours with the handcannon. Just run and shoot.

saves only limit, like:

if i die on chapter 7 but i only made a save on chapter 1, do i need to start the whole game again or are there checkpoints at the start of the level, like autosave

also do i have to play all the chapters in one setting until i reach a save point

and how long does it take to complete the game

@fagerbag If u die u will restart from the last save data. But If u die without saving the game u will start the game at the begining LoL There's no checkpoint for u in Hardcore mode. : DD

@gengdekdee Actually, that's not entirely true. For the Xbox 360 version, at the beginning of Chapter 7, the game will ask you to switch disks to continue. There is a secret checkpoint placed there, so that if the player died, they would not have to switch disks again.

@fagerbag ok...if your on chapter 10...and u have only saved on chapter 2...your gonna be back on chapter 2 at that same save station. you have to be on hard core the entire time, there are NO check points! and i am currently on chapter 10 at the end of the chapter and have saved just like Landscape did...i am following his video. and it takes quiet awhile. and if u turn ur system off without saving...obviously u just lost hours of gameplay.

the game has one checkpoint where you need to switch discs if you die on hardcore on chapter 7+ you start at the beginning of disc 2 not disc 1

@JamesStewartRider Force Gun up until the train sequence (not very long) then focus on the Contact Beam. Fully upgrade the Contact Beam and you will be glad you did.

Bloody Vintage suit and the Bloody Force gun both served me well, with the plasma cutter as the alternate weapon. Was 60/40 plasma/force early on, then reversed ratio latter half. Chapter 14/15 basically use the Force gun to clear a path, especially the final gauntlet. The ending is a joke-- stasis or hit her once from medium range with force gun then hit her again at point blank range. Switch to plasma cutter and wail on the marker. Did the ending first try this way.

I first saved at the end of chapter 5 just before the Tormentor sequence. My second save was used in chapter 10, in the Engineering deck, after the encounter with the Brutes. I haven't used my third save, but I'm thinking about using it either at the start of chapter 13 (just like at the end of this video) or before the eye poke part at the end of the chapter.

I just got halfway through chapter 9 without saving, i was doing good. plasma gun and stasis fully upgraded,6 medium med packs. tons of ammo. i walk into this small room with a vaccum window. A black slasher comes from the right and an exploder comes from straight ahead. I killed the slasher and stasised the exploder and made a break for the door. it wouldn't open for like 10 seconds and the stasis wore off, the sack exploded across the room. i instantly got sucked through the window. FUCK!!!!!

@jesushenrychrist just happpened to me dude. really sucks. I ran to the back of the room to try and shoot it out and then close it...but the distance is just way too short. Best bet is to kill the exploder without it blowing up and then killing the slasher. Gotta use stasis for that.

@gamesketch It was a stupid stupid mistake I'm still kicking myself over it plus I don't even know if I could have beaten the boss I was using the force gun and plasma all the way through, do you think the force gun will be affective against the final boss?

I suppose it's me starting at chapter ten again and having a flawless run to the end once more either that or I start from the beginning again and this time don't waste my saves on stupid shit.

@babes0098 learn how to use the stasis and shoot faster. thats what i did. i upgraded my plasma cutter fully. and i didnt used no force gun or other weapon in the entire game.
