I Love U2. Their Music is like out of this world. Like the Light at the end of a tunnel which keeps me going. Their tunes evoke all sort of emotions - divine, political, religious, philanthropic, romantic & what else not. Nothing like them. Best Band Ever.
Hey look people, no flashing lights, revolving stage, cordless mics etc etc...back when they were still performing like a 4 piece rock band and not a bloody circus! :-) Saw them in October of that year and the stadium of 60,000 plus seemed like a small night club. That's how talented they were at performing live and drawing you in with just a simple stage.

It was at Vincennes (a horse racecourse); there were 75.000 persons. We start entering at 13:00; The first parts was "Pogues" and then "UB40"; U2 starts at 21:00.
It was unbelievable; everyone was so happy, so simply happy. In the following night, there were fans all over Paris. I remember it like if it was yesterday.
even if you don t like U2 music you have to admit , that they are one of the best and greatest band in the universe, they wrer great right from the beginning you have a lot of great bands it just different music even if you look today and it s not jus the music but the energy and preformence and carisma

estuve viendo varias performance de new year´s day, q x cierto es mi tema favorito de U2.. y ésta es la q + me gusto, tiene una polenta terrible!.. un power q deja x atrás muchas otras versiones
@BLKE19 the song is amazing, but definitely the bass is what gives this song the personality it has.. Im a bass player in a covers band, and I never get tired of playing this song!!!!

one of my all time favorite versions!
at 2:51, i could sense he was about to kiss adam on the cheek, very sweet moment.
i really love the look bono gives at 3:38 as he watches larry and edge play side by side. it says so much.
