Nice vid my dad was a Green Beret an 18 Bravo weapons Specialist he fought threw Somalia, Bosnia, Panama, The Gulf, and more but those he cant tell anyone b/c they are still calssified he served from 1988-1995 then he got out when i was born i got 3 more years till i enlist the same for me.
i just enlisted, 6 years, my asbav was an 81... the goal is SF. however the recruiter suggested not to go straight in to SF, just like MACLEOD212 said... my MOS is 11X w/airborne and take from there...
Already enlisted?? E-4 with at least 36 months active service remaining. Civilian? Sign a 60 month 18x contract. But if you fail you are needs of the army. meaning you are infantry, airborne infantry if you at least pass airborne school at benning.
Yes. if you are enlisted and you fail you will be returned to previous unit. if you pass you will be reclassed to an infantry MOS and then begin your phase training.

But, If you were already in another MOS and you fail, you'll go back to doing your previous job. I know this 'cuz i start my training next year ;)

Actually for enlisted: between the ranks of E-4 (cannot be in promotable status) to E-6... Officers: 2nd to 1st lieutenant.
