This album is amazing. i remember the first time i ever heard it :) listening to it over and over again.. and ive seen Dave Matthews 14 times in concert and it gets better and better every time :) their music is so moving <3

I used to listen to this album (and this track in particular) over and over. Literally, constantly. There's something about this tune that just hits me, and I don't even drink.

Regular clients would get in the car (I drove a cab) and they'd say, "You're listening to this AGAIN?" Hell, I never stopped :D

Damn RCA, if they hadn't pushed them to release an album they would have used this one. This honestly could have been their best album yet, in my opinions it's right up there with Before These Crowded Streets and Under the Table and Dreaming:)

@13skinsfan69 Yeah I can see what you are getting at, I just like the longer version of Grey Street a lot, it seems to have a much lighter tone to it and the sax is very nice

I like the drums more in the lillywhite one. also i find the BS one kinda has a country twang to it with the violins that I'm not as much a fan of. This one's a littler darker

Thank you so much for sharing these amazing songs, so cool to hear different versions from the ones on busted stuff, I gotta say though, the grace is gone on busted stuff is WAY better than this one, the dobro in the intro, man that's perfect, and his voice is better then too. But hearing this is also priceless in its own way, so I think you again, sir!

well obviously I like this one too, and agree with you that it's soothing and FUCKING SEXY. But I think the BS version is better, because it's not as coarse. The dobro intro is especially a big part of it for me, plus Dave sings better in it I think. But hey, you know if you hear a song for the first time and fall in love with it right away, you're usually gonna prefer that version to all others when you start listening to them, right?
