  • thanks thanks thanks, i can learn this tune, thanks for you.

  • can you tell me the name of that wistle please

  • Its a Michael Burke brass pro session D model.

  • @tradlessons How much do those whistles cost?

  • Practice alternating between the low and high A slowly by using just your breath pressure. There is no trick, just changing between two pressure levels quickly.

  • What do you play on the 2nd verse for the bit that goes; A2 aA gA fA cos Im finding that bit impossible because of how you have to get to the low a right after the high a and then variate.

  • Also, try the same exercise using the tongue, alternating between the low and high notes with low and higher pressure.

  • I was wondering how you would do the C natural in the last part. Very good.

  • I hardly play the tin whistle, more of a fiddler myself, but if you haven't found out in 7 months then maybe I can be of help. Just put your first finger half way over the first hole (if your whistle is in D) You can do the same thing in another key as long as your finger is halfway covering the hole.

  • I play it cross fingered 0xx 000

  • Cincinnati Caledonian does Gravel Walk in our grade 3 competition medley.
