How did you ever come up with such a stupid idea? Where did you find it written? Says who? Some comics book? Stravo at his Geographica, book VIII (63-23b.c.) declares "...also Makedonia is Greece" They were never a tribe, but part of a NATION, if you can tell the difference.

Not all greek city-states and kingdoms were part of Delphian amphictyonia, but Makedones were gladly accepted to participate to the Olympics where only tested and proven to be GREEKS were allowed to.Odrissians were neither Greek nor "makedones" but Thracians(another story). Try harder.

Look greek and macedonian people. Im danish and ive studied Alexander a lot, because he was one of the biggest men in history (maybe the biggest.) Alexander wasnt greek he was macedon, but he didnt care where he came from.In his own eyes i think he considered himself as a multi national person. In his own eyes he wasnt macedon and he wasnt greece :)

@mitsakos22menidi He was Macedonian from Macedon. He was born in Pella. He spoke Greek. Many people spoke Greek at that time. The Romans used Greek for literature and law, and Latin for everyday. Just because he spoke a language doesn't mean he came from Greece. Also, Aristotle was not the man who made us leave our caves.

He also conquered, which Greeks didn't. He had ambitions beyond the hegemony of the Greek city-states. He did fight to free the Greek states from Persia. People also liked Alexander and would follow him. We were living in houses long before Socrates, Plato and Aristotle.
