Usual high standard stuff - thanks for posting it. You'll have to mail me some time and let me know how you do it - I can't get youtube to display my 16:9 HD vids in the correct ratio :(
The Diesel doesn't help as it's against the railway's rule book to allow push and pull services on a passenger service, the diesel is just sat there ticking over adding more weight to the train....
I don't know why they used a diesel on te back of the Keighly Bank shot, because those two loco's would be sufficient for that climb and load. The diesel was only ticking over anyway!

Great video! you have captured the atmosphere, romance and the awesome sound effects of steam trains in the one video!
you have composed the shots wonderfully and optimised the impression of size from being low down.
I don't see the need of the diesel behind the train because the two engines would have been sufficent for the train they pulled!

Great shot of the climb out of Keighley. Not a slip in sight and you could see the ice on top of the rails.

Helped by the diesel, shame it wasn't a class 37 or class 40!

Because the deisel was hauling the train from Oxenhope - Keighley as this saves run-round times at both ends of the line.
