This was shot early summer '84 at the Park Plaza Hotel just off Wilshire Blvd. Easiest video I ever worked on. (Freeze frame when guy hangs up phone, I'm in red/white shirt in b/g). I worked props on this (rented the throne, sceptors, trumpet, etc.). Steve spent most of time upstairs in a hotel room hanging with Sherrie. He was cool. Sherrie spoke with none of us. I accidentally broke that big bushy-haired extra guy's personal camera that day. Sorry dude, after all these years. I owe ya one.

yes...there was no one like him but...that was our time, the 80's, we were lucky to have him and his music. like so many they go but they stay in our memories forever. i cant think of a tme in my life back then and not think of journey. they were part of the best time of my life. im now almost 47 and i still hear thier music and go back to that time. thank you steve and journey for giving me the best of you therfore making it the best for me :)
