Great game, used to play this frequently with my friend, who had an amiga500.

Yesterday i remembered fragments of it, but just couldn't figure out its name. I searched google-images for "Amiga500 buy ammo", because i remembered that part, and voilà - second image was a screenshot of it :)

LOVED this back in the day. Almost liked the shop more than the game itself. Used to regularly play this two player with grenade launching rifles and try and take out the other player as soon as the game starts, duelling style.

One of the best 2 player shoot them up games on Amiga along with Cabal.. Buying guns and ammo was awesome.

aha, memories - my first ever 'released' game that I coded... Nice to see good feedback, even after 20 years. I found the source code to this game the other day on a floppy disc along with all of the sprites and 8khz samples :)

Awesome! I enjoyed this game a lot back in the day and I still think it's fun.

Played it on an Amiga arcade cabinet the other day, this guy I know built it... really cool.

By the way, it would be great if you would comment a bit on EAB (English Amiga Boards)... we'd be very interested to hear any stories etc you have.

Brilliant soundtrack. It´s almost as if Aphex Twin was inspired by this when he made w32.mydoom on the 11th Analord.

GREAT run-and-gun game... A friend and me played this hours and hours. Just some highlights for those who don't know the game:

- great co-op mode, where you can make it without activating god-mode :)

- The selectable weapons differed in fire speed, distance, ammo type. But some behave exactly the same.

- However the gatling was the fastest ;)

- You could switch to the grenade launcher of the M16 in-game. Which required that you buy the extra ammunition.

- ...finally remarkable music and sound

haha yes some bullets did go more far than others also pistols had to click the shoot button than push it down (pistols were useless)

i played this alot when i was child also this game was freaking hard i never got all missions completed

You sure have played this a lot. It has great music just like all my childhood amiga games, but is pretty much unplayable through withouth timbof5.

It's a fun game but it does get repetitive. It's a little too long for a game of that kind.

Being presumptious as hell I'm just going to make a request here. Please do chub rock or some similar platformer with more interesting grahphics. I enjoyed your walkthrough of shadow of the beast a great deal. I thought those were the perfect examples of what the old Amiga could do. This game, while fun to play, is somewhat annoying to watch. Hope I don't offend, thanks for making great Amiga videoes :D
