I got the Transfer Pack, but its not working. When I try to put my Pkmn Yellow save file, it says "Cant Load GB File". Any idea why?

Why is your file format .gbc? Which pokemon yellow emulator did you use?

My visualboy advance always seems to save my gold version as .sgm so it isn't in a supported file format to transfer to Project 64

Ok then you should know (x-cept the battle factory,) you have to use your own pokemon. Pokemon stadium is like the prototype of the battle frontier. you use rental pokemon or your own

For those who do not recieve a Transfer Pack option when you check the controller settings:

Make sure you EXTRACT the files from the plugin you've downloaded, then change the plugin to N-Rage's Direct-Input 8 V2 2.1 rc3, otherwise you'll mistakenly choose a similar plugin that is outdated and does not contain the Transfer Pack.

so I downloaded the file shown in this video, but it's not 1.83. In project 64, it lists it as v2 1.80a. will someone pllleeeeeaaassseeee help me figure this out? I'm so new to this emulator stuff, but I'm pretty sure I downloaded the wrong file. where did I go wrong?!

Okay, what emulator are you using to emulate the GBC game? Because neither PlayGuy nor VBA use save file extensions supported by this damn plugin.

visualboy can emulate gbc games.

you had to play pokemon and (press start) save like a real game then export your game as a sav file

Finally got it. A tip for everyone: try using TGB Dual instead of Visual Boy: it has a native save function and there is no importation necessary, because the default output is a .sav file.

I have pokemon stadium 1 and pokemon yellow game, I use VisualBoy Advanced. But when the transfer pak works after the pokemon stadium's presentation, it shows like that:

What do I do to solve this problem???

Download another Pokemon Yellow and if its a Zip file, extract the file inside,and then move the save file from your old Pokemon Yellow to the location of your Newly extracted one. Then just configure the transfer pak settings so its the New Pokemon Yellow rom and the old Pokemon Yellow save file.

in the project 64 folder, make 2 subfolders name 1 GBxRoms and the other GBxSaves and import your save files there. if you want to load your SAV file back to visualboy after using the transfer pak, just export from GBxSaves

Also wanted to comment since i used this thing before you posted this video, you cant use Gameboy Tower with this, you have to run the GB emulator to run the GB game, and get your pokemons, win badges... that stuff, and then you can use your transfer pack on the Project 64 emulator and load everything related to the tranfer pack except the GB Tower, you can even use your own pokemon and battle against yourself, like i did in my video
