@ScalarPhotonZ Whether you like it or not, the idea of Jesus came to America thanks to the European Conquistadores in form of the Inquisition, it’s a historical fact! God didn’t murder, tortured, raped all those people to inflict an ideology; it was your supposed divine authorities on earth who represents god through a religious institution. The idea that salvation only works if you believe in Jesus is not at all an attribute of an all loving god, but of an absurd egocentric jealous depraved one
@gahver God didn't allow that to happen, afterall he is sovereign over all his creation. BTW, name-calling shows an incredible lack of class and substance.
@2rthinluv Name calling is a tactic to get imbeciles attention so I can refute illogical ideas such as yours. Whether you like it or not, the idea of Jesus came to America thanks to the European Conquistadores in form of the Inquisition, it’s a historical fact! God didn’t murder, tortured, raped all those people to inflict an ideology; it was your supposed divine authorities on earth who represents god through a religious institution.
@2rthinluv "name-calling shows an incredible lack of class and substance.” --> It *can* indicate a lack of class and substance But it depends on the circumstance, and the insult.
@BaneOfAzrael substance: The real physical matter of which a person or thing consists, the most essential or most vital part of some idea or experience. So if you got the message then you complete the communicative circle, hence there is substance. back to the topic! what do you think about Relugion inflicting upon society through violence and murder? What do you think about the Inquisition and how Jesus came to America? PS: Jesus was againts "high class"
@gahver "So if you got the message then you complete the communicative circle, hence there is substance.” --> lets not play around with semantics. Your 45, if you got a degree or even finished high school you should know that words have different meanings in different circumstances. Playing around with this for the sake of arguing gets annoying and isn’t constructive.
@BaneOfAzrael Its fascinating how you get pissed off about semantics, your posture is “not Christian like” but very bellicose (and im a LOT younger that you think) The way they conquered was not at all Christian like. My point is that your belief system is based on a religion that inflicted its belief with depraved horrors. It’s not ok when a religious institution sells you the right to enter “heaven” while they obtain power in a political status.
@gahver " Its fascinating how you get pissed off about semantics, your posture is “not Christian like” but very bellicose” --> your inventing things, and reading emotion that is not there.
I have not been angry with you. I simply pointed out that aspects of your comment we’re not constructive to the conversation, and in the context could be interpreted as intentionally trying to be annoying.
@gahver "My point is that your belief system is based “ --> and to be blunt, I’m going to call bullsh*t. Why? You haven’t asked me what my belief system is. Your simply making more assumptions to fuel your argument so you can fell justified with your juvenile conduct
@BaneOfAzrael I’m not assuming your belief system when you defend Christianity, which I say its bullshit because real evil, its hell on earth, its murder to the ones who don’t believe, its inquisition, it’s not a bit benevolent.
@gahver "I’m not assuming your belief system when you defend Christianity” --> had I been Defending christianity It still would have been an assumption, but you would have had good reason to assume it. Fact: I never defended it. So I have to ask, are you trolling, or are you that big of a moron?
@BaneOfAzrael This is not a party; this is a challenge of ideas, a learning arena, where insults are irrelevant to the point being made. He who takes it personal lacks tolerance and criteria, which is an attribute for most Christians and Catholics who evade ideas that shake their belief, pretty much like you are and most other idiots who watch these videos to reassure their ignorance in a society of sheep
@gahver You had a rather heated Discussion with 2rthinluv. You’re methods were somewhat distasteful but when he proceeded to tell you that the insults proved you lack class or substance to your arguments, I corrected and explained that Insults do not always indicate this. This was simply telling him to ignore the insults, look at the content of his own arguments and look at how he conducted himself.
@BaneOfAzrael So what if you assume I’m a 45 ass Mormon pompous dick drop out! You are making it far worse than it is, and if that’s your tactic then you are just dwelling neurotic, what am I now you lazy piece of shit? Is it easier for you to hate me than to admit I might have a true point? Many pray for forgiveness and not many have the humility to forgive and move on and very very little have the ability to learn in the process because it’s not easy, so what do you stand for?
@gahver The assumption that I was defending anyone would have been wrong, but it would have been more understandable if someone thought I was defending you.
And what was your reaction? Without being contacted by me, your responded to me, and acted like a pompous dick proceeding to insult me. So it would appear that your just an ass, who is unable to intelligently or maturely get across his ideas and resorts to being petty.
@BaneOfAzrael Dwell on this (imagine me giving you the full finger like in my picture Jajaja) or take it like a man and get back to the topic, if you can’t defend your religion then what a hell are you doing? Why is Christianity good if it’s an inflicting castrating religion? If you are not Christian then what do you stand for?
@gahver "if you can’t defend your religion then what a hell are you doing? “ --> I’m not defending “my religion”, I don’t adhere to a religion, Nothing I’ve said gives you cause to assume this. I’ve answered all your questions and you take the time to be an ass and insult. You said that "this is a challenge of ideas, a learning arena, “ so far your just being a Dick.
@BaneOfAzrael Precisely my point, you are more interested in the depravity of insults than sticking to the topic, you like to go around in circles without stating your opinion. I prefer to be a dick than an ignorant bastard who has nor criteria nor personal points of view, what do you stand for? What do you believe in? Are you atheist? Are you satanic? Do you believe in spirituality? Are you an asshole? Is that specific enough?
@gahver "what do you stand for?.. What do you believe in? “ --> Again, there are thousands of things I could answer with. Be more specific.
"Are you atheist?” --> That depends on how you use the term ‘atheist’. I am currently unconvinced with religious claims, and though I don’t discount the possibility, I do not hold the belief in any particular God. I am confident that the religions I am familiar with are not true.
@gahver “Are you satanic?” --> no "Do you believe in spirituality? “ --> what do you mean by “spirituality. "Are you an asshole?” --> no, however based on my discussion with you, you seem to uphold that title quite well.
@gahver " you are more interested in the depravity of insults than sticking to the topic” --> on the contrary, I’ve answered every question and point, or sought clarification for the broad questions you’ve asked. I have also pointed out that though insults may have a place. in this context it simply makes you look like a troll.
@gahver "I prefer to be a dick than an ignorant bastard who has nor criteria nor personal points of view” --> fine, I don’t see how thats relevant because I have been neither.
@BaneOfAzrael Bull shit, you can’t even think of one thing to answer with your own personal opinion. An atheist is an atheist, it’s the why are you an atheist that makes it interesting, or the why you don’t share a particular religion or ideology, or why are you not convinced, why do you not hold a belief on a particular god, You do know what an asshole is, but you don’t know what spirituality is? That is evading, you might be good for distinguishing words and phrases, but not ideas nor concepts
@gahver Words and terms can have different meanings bub.
To some an atheist is a person who rejects and opposes all religion, gods, spirituality, etc. and allows for no possibility of there being such things. Some would say that This is simply anti-theism. and is not logical
To others an atheist is a person who rejects religions and does not have a belief in a specific God, yet allows for the possibility, Others would disagree and say that this is agnostic.
@gahver There are multiple definitions for words, much depending on context, who is asking, not to mention the hidden assumptions.
" you can’t even think of one thing to answer with your own personal opinion. “ --> If you think this, then there really isn’t any point talking with you. I have answered honestly, Gone into greater detail to avoid any misunderstandings or assumptions.
@gahver " but you don’t know what spirituality is? “ --> I am not sure what you mean given this context. I’ve asked for you to clarify what it is you mean. This is not evading, If you provide clarification I will answer
@BaneOfAzrael spirituality: Concern with things of the spirit, Concerned with or affecting the spirit or soul. C'mon dude, you cant play naive under this conditions, otherwise its ignorance.
@gahver "C'mon dude, you cant play naive under this conditions, otherwise its ignorance.” --> again, seeking clarification before giving a response shows intelligence. Wanting to push out insults, and not clarify anything makes you look like a troll, or at-least an ass
@gahver Based on your definition of spirituality no I don’t. But its a pretty broad definition that you’ve provided. If you had specific aspects of what you consider spirituality to be I suggest you give them as examples just in case They were not conveyed in your definition.
@gahver “ why you don’t share a particular religion or ideology, or why are you not convinced, why do you not hold a belief on a particular god” --> the lack of adequate evidence, conflicting claims, unscientific pleas, etc.
@BaneOfAzrael so again, what is your point? are you defending anything? if not, do you have a strong statement to make? why do you look at these kind of videos?
@gahver "so again, what is your point?” --> Why the heck do i need to make a point to you? I did not start this conversation, I’ve simply replied to your insults and incorrect (not to mention idiotic) assumptions. "why do you look at these kind of videos?” --> Do I have to have a reason to brows the web?
You want a point? here: “your a judgemental Ass. If you want to take anything to heart make sure you know your sh*t before you start accusing and insulting people"
@BaneOfAzrael jajaja you can brows all you want, but one searches for interests, looks like you are only interested in searching and pointing out insults: if the jacket fits wear it! and your last statement, pretty dull, very contradictory to your point, its like saying: i hate haters! jajaja i dont need to say you are an idiot, you do that very well for yourself
@gahver Implying that I was trying to start a fight and tossing under the table insults my way, means 1 of two things.
1) you need to slow down, and leave out the false assumptions in your dealings with others
or
2) Your intentionally trying to create a conflict though your insults.
I hope its the former so you can be mature about it and adjust your conduct. For if its the latter.. well I don’t exactly enjoy talking to broken records.
@gahver Just as my reprimanding you for using the word “relugion” insulting your intelligence or simply focusing on the misspelled word rather than your points would also not be constructive in the conversation.
@gahver What do I think about religions that need violence in order to spread? I think anything that needs violence to spread should probably be abandoned. There are of course circumstances or topics where this claim may not be true (ie. fighting for freedom, although this can certainly be abused as well)
@gahver there are aspects of religion that are admirable, but people should be aware of the history and any violence that was used in the name of the religion. Ignoring it is dishonest
@BaneOfAzrael On march 12 2000 the Pope John Paul II asked forgiveness in the name of the church "for errors committed in the service of truth through use of methods that had nothing to do with the Gospel". If the old bastard believed, then he was saving his own ass! How about 23rd of October 1996, declared the evolutionary theories of Charles Darwin to be fact, tacitly acknowledging that man evolved from the apes, and reducing the biblical account of Genesis to that of mere fable!
@gahver " tacitly acknowledging that man evolved from the apes” --> actually men and apes evolved from a common ancestor. As I understand it, there are many christians who are able to maintain their faith, and accept science simply by adjusting their interpretation of the bible
@BaneOfAzrael Why is that John Paul II the only one who acknowledges what religion has done to humanity? Your religion is based on torture! How can you neglect how Christianity came to America though the Catholic system of horror and murder? i really want to know your opinion
@gahver " Genesis to that of mere fable!” --> Why does a fable make it less important? I know fables and folklore that are recognized as fictional but still provide important messages and themes.
@BaneOfAzrael If you get offended it’s because you take it personal, and you must acknowledge that is not, if you can’t take youtube comments, you can’t take other criticism, therefore not open to other possibilities. I do not assume your belief system; I know it by the fact that you defend Christianity! Your predetermined thought pattern contradicts your religious belief system: fables are fantasy and it’s absurd to base your spiritual belief on that.
@gahver "Jesus came to America?” --> What part? The Violence? The Cultural vandalism? The Lies/misunderstandings?
Its tragic. Christian Missionaries destroyed cultures and knowledge because it was different and labeled as “pagan”. Tones of culture and knowledge was lost.
I have no illusions regarding this, whats your point?
@BaneOfAzrael Lying is their busyness; the most effective most powerful tool for you to gag on is faith, its abstract, its intangible, if you don’t have they’ll give it to you, but not for free. The catch is if you don’t believe, you’ll just go to hell, in other words you don’t stand a chance without them, so automatically your individuality is thrown down the drain. If you acknowledge what your religion has done, why keep following it? To me Christianity is dead and it died in a cross.
My spirit is in a constant battle against these fleshly temptations; addictions, that I cannot seem to surpass. Is battling enough or does one have to mortify the deeds of the flesh completely to inherit the Kingdom of God?
@3VOLution3NO I don't think one must live a perfect and completely sinless life in the flesh in order to inherit God's Kingdom; but rather, the one thing that is certain is that we are saved by faith in Him (Eph. 2:8; Acts 16:30-31). Yes, we are told to abstain from the desires of the flesh which wage war against the soul (1 Peter 2:11), yet this is because we belong to Christ and are led by the Spirit.
Also, I think Paul also had the same problem with sin as you do...just read (Romans 7:14-25)
@xWhiteLightning I don't think Romans 7:14-25 describes Paul's experience with sin throughout his Christian life. Look in particular at the contrast between this passage and Romans 8. Many Christians even believe Romans 7:14-25 to be describing Paul's experience before salvation.
It may seem like you can't surpass sinful addictions, but keep fighting! Battling against sinful desires is mortifying the deeds of the flesh, but it's impossible to be completely mortified of the flesh. Once we are glorified with Jesus we will be completely sanctified and pure. Remember, God set you free, now you belong to Him. "But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life." Rm 6:22
@3VOLution3NO Denying your bodily needs is denying yourself, it is not your spirit that is in conflict it’s your belief system against your organism. If you want to change something you have to know it, and you dear sir do not know yourself. If you believe in god then this is your task in order to surpass and understand. Summit your will to defeat yourself or pay the consequence and surrender to ignorance. Ask yourself, why do you need to be addicted?
I TRY, then I crash again into wrongness, as under certain conditions i find temptations hard to resist. It's my own fault, Yes i get confused at times, but i DO also actually CHOOSE to let myself down & do the very same wrongness that I'd just spent weeks being strong against and avoiding! NUTS!
Yes i despair after such times. Just hope i don't do it again.

@gahver "I’m not assuming your belief system when you defend Christianity” --> had I been Defending christianity It still would have been an assumption, but you would have had good reason to assume it. Fact: I never defended it. So I have to ask, are you trolling, or are you that big of a moron?
BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago
@BaneOfAzrael This is not a party; this is a challenge of ideas, a learning arena, where insults are irrelevant to the point being made. He who takes it personal lacks tolerance and criteria, which is an attribute for most Christians and Catholics who evade ideas that shake their belief, pretty much like you are and most other idiots who watch these videos to reassure their ignorance in a society of sheep

@gahver "who evade ideas that shake their belief, pretty much like you are and most other idiots “ --> and what questions did I evade exactly?
BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago

@gahver "so what do you stand for?” --> many things, you’d have to be more specific
BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago
@gahver The assumption that I was defending anyone would have been wrong, but it would have been more understandable if someone thought I was defending you.
And what was your reaction? Without being contacted by me, your responded to me, and acted like a pompous dick proceeding to insult me. So it would appear that your just an ass, who is unable to intelligently or maturely get across his ideas and resorts to being petty.
BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago
@BaneOfAzrael Dwell on this (imagine me giving you the full finger like in my picture Jajaja) or take it like a man and get back to the topic, if you can’t defend your religion then what a hell are you doing? Why is Christianity good if it’s an inflicting castrating religion? If you are not Christian then what do you stand for?
gahver 1 month ago
@gahver "if you can’t defend your religion then what a hell are you doing? “ --> I’m not defending “my religion”, I don’t adhere to a religion, Nothing I’ve said gives you cause to assume this. I’ve answered all your questions and you take the time to be an ass and insult. You said that "this is a challenge of ideas, a learning arena, “ so far your just being a Dick.
BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago

BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago
@gahver “Are you satanic?” --> no "Do you believe in spirituality? “ --> what do you mean by “spirituality. "Are you an asshole?” --> no, however based on my discussion with you, you seem to uphold that title quite well.
BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago
@gahver " you are more interested in the depravity of insults than sticking to the topic” --> on the contrary, I’ve answered every question and point, or sought clarification for the broad questions you’ve asked. I have also pointed out that though insults may have a place. in this context it simply makes you look like a troll.
BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago
@gahver "I prefer to be a dick than an ignorant bastard who has nor criteria nor personal points of view” --> fine, I don’t see how thats relevant because I have been neither.
BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago
@BaneOfAzrael Bull shit, you can’t even think of one thing to answer with your own personal opinion. An atheist is an atheist, it’s the why are you an atheist that makes it interesting, or the why you don’t share a particular religion or ideology, or why are you not convinced, why do you not hold a belief on a particular god, You do know what an asshole is, but you don’t know what spirituality is? That is evading, you might be good for distinguishing words and phrases, but not ideas nor concepts
gahver 1 month ago
@gahver Words and terms can have different meanings bub.
To some an atheist is a person who rejects and opposes all religion, gods, spirituality, etc. and allows for no possibility of there being such things. Some would say that This is simply anti-theism. and is not logical
To others an atheist is a person who rejects religions and does not have a belief in a specific God, yet allows for the possibility, Others would disagree and say that this is agnostic.
BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago
@gahver There are multiple definitions for words, much depending on context, who is asking, not to mention the hidden assumptions.
" you can’t even think of one thing to answer with your own personal opinion. “ --> If you think this, then there really isn’t any point talking with you. I have answered honestly, Gone into greater detail to avoid any misunderstandings or assumptions.
Don’t be an ass.
BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago
@gahver " but you don’t know what spirituality is? “ --> I am not sure what you mean given this context. I’ve asked for you to clarify what it is you mean. This is not evading, If you provide clarification I will answer
BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago
@BaneOfAzrael spirituality: Concern with things of the spirit, Concerned with or affecting the spirit or soul. C'mon dude, you cant play naive under this conditions, otherwise its ignorance.
gahver 1 month ago
@gahver "C'mon dude, you cant play naive under this conditions, otherwise its ignorance.” --> again, seeking clarification before giving a response shows intelligence. Wanting to push out insults, and not clarify anything makes you look like a troll, or at-least an ass
BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago
@gahver Based on your definition of spirituality no I don’t. But its a pretty broad definition that you’ve provided. If you had specific aspects of what you consider spirituality to be I suggest you give them as examples just in case They were not conveyed in your definition.

@gahver “ why you don’t share a particular religion or ideology, or why are you not convinced, why do you not hold a belief on a particular god” --> the lack of adequate evidence, conflicting claims, unscientific pleas, etc.

@BaneOfAzrael so again, what is your point? are you defending anything? if not, do you have a strong statement to make? why do you look at these kind of videos?
gahver 1 month ago
@gahver "so again, what is your point?” --> Why the heck do i need to make a point to you? I did not start this conversation, I’ve simply replied to your insults and incorrect (not to mention idiotic) assumptions. "why do you look at these kind of videos?” --> Do I have to have a reason to brows the web?
You want a point? here: “your a judgemental Ass. If you want to take anything to heart make sure you know your sh*t before you start accusing and insulting people"
BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago

BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago
@gahver Just as my reprimanding you for using the word “relugion” insulting your intelligence or simply focusing on the misspelled word rather than your points would also not be constructive in the conversation.

@gahver What do I think about religions that need violence in order to spread? I think anything that needs violence to spread should probably be abandoned. There are of course circumstances or topics where this claim may not be true (ie. fighting for freedom, although this can certainly be abused as well)
BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago
@gahver there are aspects of religion that are admirable, but people should be aware of the history and any violence that was used in the name of the religion. Ignoring it is dishonest
BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago
@BaneOfAzrael On march 12 2000 the Pope John Paul II asked forgiveness in the name of the church "for errors committed in the service of truth through use of methods that had nothing to do with the Gospel". If the old bastard believed, then he was saving his own ass! How about 23rd of October 1996, declared the evolutionary theories of Charles Darwin to be fact, tacitly acknowledging that man evolved from the apes, and reducing the biblical account of Genesis to that of mere fable!
gahver 1 month ago
@gahver " tacitly acknowledging that man evolved from the apes” --> actually men and apes evolved from a common ancestor. As I understand it, there are many christians who are able to maintain their faith, and accept science simply by adjusting their interpretation of the bible
BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago
@BaneOfAzrael Why is that John Paul II the only one who acknowledges what religion has done to humanity? Your religion is based on torture! How can you neglect how Christianity came to America though the Catholic system of horror and murder? i really want to know your opinion
gahver 1 month ago
@gahver " Genesis to that of mere fable!” --> Why does a fable make it less important? I know fables and folklore that are recognized as fictional but still provide important messages and themes.
BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago
@BaneOfAzrael If you get offended it’s because you take it personal, and you must acknowledge that is not, if you can’t take youtube comments, you can’t take other criticism, therefore not open to other possibilities. I do not assume your belief system; I know it by the fact that you defend Christianity! Your predetermined thought pattern contradicts your religious belief system: fables are fantasy and it’s absurd to base your spiritual belief on that.
gahver 1 month ago
@gahver "Jesus came to America?” --> What part? The Violence? The Cultural vandalism? The Lies/misunderstandings?
Its tragic. Christian Missionaries destroyed cultures and knowledge because it was different and labeled as “pagan”. Tones of culture and knowledge was lost.
I have no illusions regarding this, whats your point?
BaneOfAzrael 1 month ago

3VOLution3NO 1 month ago
@3VOLution3NO I don't think one must live a perfect and completely sinless life in the flesh in order to inherit God's Kingdom; but rather, the one thing that is certain is that we are saved by faith in Him (Eph. 2:8; Acts 16:30-31). Yes, we are told to abstain from the desires of the flesh which wage war against the soul (1 Peter 2:11), yet this is because we belong to Christ and are led by the Spirit.
Also, I think Paul also had the same problem with sin as you do...just read (Romans 7:14-25)
xWhiteLightning 1 month ago in playlist More videos from mhcseattle
@xWhiteLightning I don't think Romans 7:14-25 describes Paul's experience with sin throughout his Christian life. Look in particular at the contrast between this passage and Romans 8. Many Christians even believe Romans 7:14-25 to be describing Paul's experience before salvation.
ScalarPhotonZ 1 month ago
@3VOLution3NO
It may seem like you can't surpass sinful addictions, but keep fighting!
