  • well done.

  • Mark, some of us are dying to know. What music was this set to?

  • near the middle of the vid i got worried. i thought its was gonna suck. by the end though...damn! thats nice

  • people don't make a 7:00 minutes video

  • I will try this, but I don't think it's easy like this. This form would look really good with wood fire or soda fire. Thanks for posting.

  • I put a small nail (even a brad) and length of guitar wire in a drill chuck and run the drill slow while holding the wire and with tension feeding it onto the rotating small nail. This produces a tight coil of wire which I then load into an adjustable cheese cutter fron which I have removed the original wire.

With this I can better control the depth of the wire cut.

By choosing various sized nails, wire guage and stretching the wire 'more-or less', one can further vary facet results. Bill

  • Wow, just amazing workmanship!

  • LOVE the music

  • Would look pretty also in porcelain; great tip!

  • wonderful. I can't believe how potters can take wet pieces off the wheel and hold them. It's impossible for me. I can't wait to try this technique.

  • Hey, I liked that! Kind of a twist (pardon the pun) on other expansion methods after some surface treatment such as slip. Great!

  • Thanks Flush, your demos are fantastic! Now if you only had an English Accent, lol...

Keep it up. I wondered about that faceting tool...
