There are so many people whose life like pig style, even sleep on a -20ys old stained smelly mattress every night, but no bed bugs except cockroaches. Maybe bedbugs only like sucking certain type of blood.{(-_-)}

I had about 30 bites all around my upper body when I rented a room about 6 years ago. Found a bug under my pillow and then founds hundreds in the next door room. My dad identified them as bed bugs when I briought some home in a bottle.

Thank goodnees it took me like a second day to notice my bed was infested by bed bugs although it was like a week already. My family got rid of it by stripping down the whole mattres and wallpaper...next used pesticide and shut all windows and door so that they will suffocate with it. Imagine...those little pest breeds every 5 to 10 minutes.

In NY bedbugs are so bad they make you wrap your mattress in airtight plastic before throwing it out...or charge you $100. My building wanted to charge me $250 dollars if I tried to dispose of one without the covering. It's insane!

@thevanessacullen what happened? I just found bugs after a month of bites at night. I threw away my bed, stripped the room, vacuumed the room. Washed all my clothes and sheets, dried them all long and setup bed in the room next to the "infested room". i'm thinking it was a pretty small infestation, but i hope I dont get bit in the new room.
