I loved when he brings in the 'script is a blueprint, not the finished house' analogy and says "wait, no, this needs to be a smooth curve instead of a hard edge, and we need a fireplace here!"

Agreed this is the best Lynch I've seen too.
1. I think Figgis asked really good questions
2. Lynch seems to be enthused by talking to a fellow film-maker.

Where is this interview on the Inland Empire DVD? It's not on disk 2...disk 1 perhaps? hummm
