  • It would help if you had a subwoofer

  • It would be an insalt to have to have someone else install my system. I would never go their. And I wouldn't put my amp on the seat where everyone can see it. It needs to be hidden, he's putting it their so someone can and steel it and so the customer can come back and pay for another one. FUCK'N CORPRATE GREED.!

  • @1BlubeTube You are an insult to the English language.

  • @paulmanes Is that all you can say, Retard.

  • This vid should be taken down.

    This is NOT instructive.

    It is an AD.

  • Then reinstall the radio... CLICK

  • dumbest, most worthless install video i ve seen...pitiful

  • Does he really show up to work to install ps and subs dressed like hes a buisness man?

  • @mx272y it's called a polo bud

  • 2:17-2:20, did he meant that you put a fuse into the correct spot in the car fuse box located under the hood?? i thought the inline fuse is enough to protect the circuit already.

  • 1:35 fail

  • Someone could help me out. I dont know what fuse to buy for my amp.. and I need help with the order of the connecting cables to the battery after of before putting the fuse on the fuse holder?

  • 1:37 LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • Remote start cable? Ummm, it's called a remote turn on wire. You can't start an amp. "Vroom!"

  • @cjpaish I really don't see the difference between the two...

  • We no longer need to disconnect the negative battery terminal? What a beast! *KABOOM!*

  • so much for showing a demo that the amp really works

  • lmao haha the stereo pops out at 1:35

  • you dont even explain the remote cable, you suck

  • proooooces

  • dumb canadians

  • this video is horrible!

  • looks too easy. This video is too short to really explain to a rookie like my self. I mean ... who else would be watching this other than rookies ?

  • error:ground to chasis!

  • wow, he mounted the box to the back of the fold down seats, so now you cant just fold down one seat if you want, you have to fold them both down. FAIL.

    lol

  • haha...i just noticed that. What an idiot.

  • lmao at about 1:35 he puts the radio back in and starts talking and then the radio falls lmao

  • LMFAO

  • on the back of the in-dash the amp out with one rca wire out put so plug up one rca cable on the amp too

  • were is the hole in the fire wall you went through

  • err yeah, if ur battery is on..which it shouldnt be at that point unless ur a moron

  • what an idiot, always ground the amp before hooking it to the battery, or you will fry the hell out of it

  • he left out where to hook up th rca jacks

  • Pleasee.. help.. I don't know where to connect my Power Control Terminal from my amplifier, This guy call it "remote start cable"..

Where should I connect it to?

  • connect it to a blue cable with a white stripe on it should be on your aftermarket stereo harness

  • from amp you go to headunit and on headunit if you see some wires that are not used try a blue or red wier that turns on your amp on and off

it could also be blue and white wire

  • yes, it was the remote cable, in my stereo (sony) it was a blue wire with a wite line. Thank you.

  • To the remote or power antenna usually blue

  • its not about watts.... its about RMS

  • RMS watts. not about peak watts

  • i have a 1600w amp. do i have to do all of that with it?

  • of course dip shit other wise it wouldnt work you stupid fuck., u know what, just give me that amp, obviously u dont know what to do with it.

  • haha, this was SOO NOT useful

  • damn. i sell car audio equipment not install. i could have made a better video

  • This didnt help me at all wtf its sapose to be helpful

  • go to 1:35 watch radio drop down lol this guy

  • HAHAHA

  • and if u watch his eyes he reading off a something he probably has never even hooked up a ipod

  • i know right

HELLOOO if you're gona tell people how to install an amp atleast higher a decent actor...make that shit believable

  • lmao didnt even realize that

  • this guy is a douche

  • LOL nicely put

  • my speaker wire is thicker then the power wire i run 8 gauge speaker wire to my rockford fosgate t2's

  • wtf a class d amp and it's only 400w how old is this video?

  • yeah man class d is the way to go for a sub..

  • shit wuz not helpful at all

  • lol expert naw

  • I have a 02 honda civic lx 2dr. coupe with an alarm system and I am trying to install 400 watt amp w/ subwoofer by using 1000 watts w/ 8 guage power. Will it work.

  • Yes it will just make sure you ground it.

  • i was told that already. thank you

  • What? a 400w amp and a 1000w sub? that won't work. and If you did end up buying that big of an amp just get like 0 gauge wire

  • i looked up my amp and it requires 8 guage wires.

  • Yeah, that would suck... I would recommend at least 500w amp, but still not the best to get.

  • Which fool starts to connect from the amp to the other components and etc looool

I swear its da ova way round.

  • and they call themselves experts?????

  • LOL!!!!!!!!!

  • he screwed the amp onto both back seats, you need to fold one down first to get the other one down.. haha

  • YOU SUCK! that was not helpful at all.

  • "Then reinstall the radio" **radio clicks&tilts** LMFAO!!

  • haha truu

  • This is the absolute worst video I seen about how to install a amp... lol

  • was it just me but did anyone else see when he pushed the radio in it came out alittle and tilted lol

  • LMFAOOO!!

    THAT MADE ME LAUGH HARD!!!

  • lol i noticed that too.

  • why do you earth the amp to the car and not connect it to the negative battery terminal? is the car connected to the negative terminal and its just a standard for making wiring more easy?

  • Your cars battery will have a few cables running from the negative terminal to various places, one of those places will be the cars chassis. It makes it much easier for car manufacturers to get a good ground point for all the electrical components in your car, as well as reducing wiring clutter. Some cars have it the other way around, and have the positive terminal connected to the chassis, but it is VERY rare. I'm amazed they didn't recomend disconnecting the battery while working too.

  • would like to also mention that the fuse should be put in last after everything is connected, the fuse holder can be installed but the actual fuse should be in last.

  • we ment to guess where the wires go into the amp?

  • this is just an ad to convince you to pay future shop to do it!

  • that reminds me i need an inline fuse for my 2nd battery.

and shit man if u knew a thing or 2 you know you need A DRILL not a scredriver. good luck mounting an amp on the back of the seat where its all metal.

  • yeah, and what's this "remote start wire" ? it's called a "remote turn-on lead" in the world i live in! what kinda amp needs to be started? you start a engine not a amp!!!

  • You guys mind being less critical about the video or what words he used? It helped me, and I didn't know a thing about it. And low and behold, it works in my car. So stop knocking the specifics, and just go with it.

  • Check out my videos I teach you how to run your amp wires in great detail

  • whats an inline fuse?

  • and inline fuse is a fuse thats inline with your power cable it connects to your power cable that is ran from your battery to your amp.

  • WERE IS SUBWOOFER

  • u dont just use an amp to run a sub u can us an amp to run every thing LOs mids highs speekers subs all of it y do u thinku can buy like 4 chanle ampz

  • lol what a moron, im looking for help not humor

  • jajaja de dnt explain shit, "uninstall the radio and reinstall the radio", jajajajaja. bull shit.

  • yeah...that's the main reason why I opened this video...and he skipped the most important part

  • ha ha 1:38... "Then re-install the radio...*CLICK*" watch it move!! ha wow

  • lol!

  • lol

  • Lol, that was funny!!

  • Why a Pontiac?

They should have a Honda in this video...

  • eww.

  • 1:38...haha

  • hahahah x'D

  • lmao he put the stereo head unit in and it fell out straight away

  • where does the REMOTE cable go from the amp???

  • depends are you running a stock or aftermarket head unit(radio)

  • Yup most of this i could have done without the video.

  • yeah wasted my time

  • Retarded video

  • im trying to hook up an amp for my after market speaker in my car but i dont know if i have to disconnect the speakers from my deck.. can someone let me know????????

  • LMAO, how????

  • you can tell hes reading from a teleprompter

  • big deal?

  • lol, i just take notice to little things like this, its not really a big deal

  • how you bridge an amp

  • connect them togeather :D

    ha'

  • In response to beastboy911, I can tell you how to bridge an amp.

When you connect the speaker cable to the amp, connect the red side to the + terminal on one channel, then connect the black side to the - terminal on the opposite channel.

That will increase your power because your sub will be using both channels instead of just one.

Keep in mind that when you're bridged you can only use 1 sub on a 2-channel amp, and only 2 subs on a 4-channel amp.

  • 1:38 now reinstall your radio..... mmmmmhmmmm lol

  • wtf how you do that ?

  • will that work with home stero

  • stero?

  • like the stero in your house like for uor bedrom

  • If somebody needs help installing a amp reply to me and ill will be able to help you.

  • should i connect 4 rca wires in or just 2? in my amp?

  • reed you amp manual 4 rca is mostly used for 4 channel set ups

  • what do you need to know??????????

  • ugg that helped a bit but i need more detail lol
