Jeff, this has always been an interest of mine. In fact listening to this actually makes me really want to buy the equipment to begin this as a hobby! As a kid I always tried to pick up long distant signals! What kind of antenna do I need to get to start? I can buy a Sangean online, but what kind of antenna do I need? Thanks, and keep on posting these! :)
The antenna is an Antenna Performance Specialties APS-13, which you should find with a google search, apparently links aren't allowed. I started off with the much smaller FM-6 type antenna that used to be sold at radio shack. Those are still available various places online for less than $25.
Thanks, I'll look online for one. Once I get one and install and get myself going, I'll let you know what I can get. Who knows, maybe I'll get some New England stations from here in Tampa, FL (if you can pick us up, maybe I can pick up your local stations!). Thanks for getting me inspired again to pursue this hobby! Keep on posting them E Skips!
Is that a part of a song I'm listening to from 0:00-0:03? If it is, please inform me the artist and title. that sounded awesome!

WEAT jingles sound similar to WMJX.

Actually WMJX has never used JAM, they've used Thompson Creative for years. WEAT's are from the "Keyframes" package from Q92.9 in Pittsburgh.
