So I decided to ride it home down this brutal hill and forgot to bring my helmet! I made it down ok but then immediately thought about you lol. So when I went back out to ride again today I made sure to put my helmet on. Went for a nice 9 mile trail ride :-)

@StevenM92 Well then good choice for a "civilized" sporty car. I take back my assumption. But I can tell you first hand, it's not as fast as an SRT-4. Don't get me wrong, I like my GLI and I plan to doll her up when I have the money. But the SRT-4 was alot easier to find performance mods for and is much faster from the factory.

SRT4 are becoming rare, with low miles and well maintained. its a great car. i dont find nothing wrong with it. its a fast and quick car to get around in. everyone has a opinion.

That car wouldve been an easy fix.ive repaired a few wrecked srt4's and theres no reason that couldnt have been fixed for no more than $2500.

hey man you could still fix your car my srt4 was worsser than that and its back on the road. steering column had broken frame was bent it took me like 6 months to fix. and if you sell your car ill buy it from you ill have two srt4's. was it you fault or the toyota yarises fault cause it looked like it did not get that much damage the yaris.

@ferriswheelsrt4 It's a manual with 2 settings which can be switched. That way you have a normal and a high boost setting. It's an older one and won't do much good if you are still running the stock WGA. the boost will still bleed off about 5-10 PSI.

@myuzz Very true. The GLI is more of a smooth ride. A bit dangerous though because I can be going 80mph and not realize it! And I must say the interior fit and finish is much better. Almost feels like sitting in a fighter jet. Now I just gotta get it to go faster :-)

@maddawgwcw29 The puleys on the passenger side of the engine were literally touching the front of the frame and I couldn't open the driver door al the way. Basically the actual frame of the car was bent. That is next to impossible to fix and fix good. It would never have been the same car. Plus God knows how many other problems would have popped up.
