An advancing army finding itself rained on by a unit of professional arches could expect heavy casualties not from individual sniper-like bowmen but from the high rate of fire. If she is this good in machine-gun mode just imagine what she could do in a hunting scenario.

@iagorincon Tamerlane used female archers to protect baggage trains, I can't think of any other non-mythological historical examples of large scale use of female archers in combat. What she is doing here is nothing even remotely realistic or effective in combat.

Eh. It's really not hard to shoot a bow that quickly, and at that range it's not hard to hit a 1x1 meter target either. Take it out past 30 metres when you actually have to take time to steady your aim and you can't fire that fast.

At the range she's shooting, a decent archer would have a nice tight cluster in the centre of the target. Instead, she hits all over the target, because she's firing so fast. And it's not hard to fire a bow fast.

Also if she points her bow towards me, she could be highly intimidating and persuasive, so I give credit to her Speech being at least 60 also without saying a word.

Not that impressive.

My wife managed that rate of fire at 100 feet with full draw, proper form and accuracy, at an actual target, when she was 17. (We were reality testing the rate of fire rule in D&D which at the time said "1 per 4 seconds". )

I've also seen a video of an archer on horseback shooting a small moving target with about the same ROF. (Michael Palin's "New Europe")

Take the advice of the archery instructor below, get some real targets (not blankets) and try again.

I am an archery instructor and I have to say that I find this girl's style absolutely horrendous. She is not even holding the bow upright; it is tilted so the arrows will not slip from the rest. As you can tell at the end of the video she is only about twenty yards from the target, which is the distance that I start all of my BEGINNING students at. Her drawback is quite nice and she keeps her elbow up perfectly, but I would NEVER teach any of my students to shoot like this. It's disgraceful.
