Back in 1968 this was the first song that was played on undergroud radio in San Antonio. Now in my late 59s this song means more than ever before. Two people had their lives destroyed by herion. Today these people are more ruthless than ever. I use the word people loosely. Maybe animals fit better. Thwere are other types of pushers too. Just look at some of the billboards in low income cimmunities. GENOCIDE! One day all evil will pay.

A "dealer" was someone who bought some drugs and shared it with his friends at cost. hard to believe but true. they weren't in it to make a profit and shoot anyone who ripped them off or competed with them. This is where the term "pusher" came from, they pushed it on people just to make a profit.

I dont quite agree. I am 44 and grew up on Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and the likes. But the 90's brought us Pearl Jam, The SMASHING PUMPKINS (my personal 2nd fav band) and the 2000's brought us Coldplay and Muse and Radiohead was 90's - 2000's.
