how many car races do you see where cars are cornering at over 200mph consistently, let alone closed wheel sedans? the fastest drifting being done today is a bit over 200kmh. if a touring car lost his car at 200k's an hour with over 25 degree angle, it'd be called a HUGE moment, in drift, it's just another day in the office. jump in a drift car and go for a few laps around a fast course, you'll change your mind.

@inertiaMS there is no 200kph or 200mph, more like 80-120kph. Pilots read 200kph on the dashboard and are doing 100kph because wheels are spinning. In drifting, they never corner at maximum speed, in touring racing they do.

and if you want i have a few videos on my channel with speeds around 180km/h, i can tell you right now personally i have initiated a drift just after looking down and seeing the needle off the end of the 180 dial. No these guys aren't doing 200km/h, i never said they were, but drifters do see 200km/h sideways, deliberately, consistently on certain tracks.
