Really, people talk about 787B like it was a beast, the truth is, the car won for being reliable, not fast, and even then luck had a lot to do with it as the front runners broke down during the race, look up the history of the car, of it 21 races it only won one.

They're top speed in the whole race was only 250 km/h while the car could go 380, come on!!!

@thekingoffutbol They were fast but burned fuel like no tomorrow. The drivers were not the issue. They would have needed a perfect race to win. Unfortunately, that doesn't exist in Le Mans and, they had their share of issues. For example: The blown tire, while chasing down the lead BMW, at the end of this vid sealed the deal.

Wow, It's sad to see how most people fail to appreciate Keiichi Tsuchiya. It's amazing how many different types of race cars he's driven. He even invented the sport of drifting. To bad he came up short of the Le Mans win in '99. That would've definately been the highlight of his career.

No idea about the 0-60 time, but probably under 3 seconds. The car was timed at 217 mph down the first part of the mulsanne but some say that the actual top speed was around 237 mph. similar to most other LMPs.

Uhhh yes it was, it was hideously fast. It only lost because of a technical fault in the wheel arch design, coupled with a poor choice of tires. The car would have won, but for the punctures.
