I remember watching this game on TV muted with the Iowa Radio Network on, and just pissed as all hell cuz if Im not mistake we had 2 timeouts left and they just dragged this play out. Im throwing the remote, kicking the dog, and see that the ball is snapped, but at the same time Gary Dolphin is going nuts on the radio. I had to watch the play a few times over to let it sink in. Biggest emotional swing in my life lol.

I remember watching this live on a handheld TV while at the Chiefs/Raiders game at Arrowhead. Being a Hawkeye fan from living in Iowa a few years before I watched as they slowly came back in the 4th quarter. I remember looking down just as they were ready to snap the ball. Since I could not hear anything over the crowd at my game I had to just watch and went CRAZY NUTS with my wife when he scored I realized the game was over. Told some other Hawkeye fans what happened and celebrated again.

I remember this game like it was yesterday - I was over @ my sister's house, and SCREAMING at the TV, because, like Dauphin & Podolak, I was convinced that Iowa had blown the game. When Holloway made that catch, the house went WILD!! I said to my mother, "I think I'll have an extra large helping of CROW, please!!" And, every time I watch the replay, I echo Gary Dauphin's statement - "I DON'T BELIEVE WHAT I JUST SAW!!"

I have it recorded and watch it over and over and still get goose bumps. It seemed like 2005 was the year it all kicked in for us and we started getting more respect. Still earning, but I think people started looking at Kirk and Iowa like we were a force. THEY WERE RIGHT....
