@manuEVH5150 Vito Bratta does not even compare to Eddie. Eddie did change the way guitar was played yes, but he is by no way as intricate at Vito, or melodic. Everyone has there own opinions though. But if you listen to most of Bratta songs, the guitar almost takes the lead and "sings."
this guitarrist plays with the syle of eddie van halen and you can really notice. Altought most of the guitarists were really good in the 80s, no one will beat the legendary eddie van halen.
@manuEVH5150 Uli Jon Roth and Michael Schenker were 2 of the most important inspirations for Eddie Van Halen, and for me they are still unmatched, even by Van Halen himself.

Vito Bratta was criminally overlooked by a lot of guitar enthusiasts. It's sad that most rock fans in general don't remember him..
