Every guitarist who's been playing for a while develops his own technique and it shows in the songs played. You folks complaining about songs not being played "right" need to shut up and move on.
Who gives a toss how he plays it, it's better than most of the videos posted up in here of guys who alternate pick the whole song. I downpick this song as well, yes it's harder to nail and your hands have to do more work. But in the end I say play it the way that you want to.
@Guamarmu doesn't matter... you can play it downstroke (like judas priest) then the riff will have more power, but you can also play it with alternate picking which is more difficult.
This is the best one I've seen on youtube. Well done man
