I do like this show, but sometimes it feels like a whole lot of foreplay and never any climax. It guess it's realistic but once, just one time I want them to see the creature they're chasing in the most obvious way possible.

Hmmm... poor guy whoever it was that took that beating -_-; I think a decent explaination for the DNA on the rope would be a rare condition (with the most cases I've heard of coming from south america) the person's body is covered in thick hair. No not just lots of body hair, I mean along the lines of fur; covering all but the lips and the area immediately around the eyes. So likely a person with this condition was lost/what have you, stumbled onto the property and the family freaked out.

The man at the zoo said it could possibly be a maned wolf in argentina but said he never heard of them outside of areas around brazil. I read that they have maned wolves at a zoo in argentina. Maybe it escaped.

Whether they knew it was human or actually thought it a beast who knows?, but it appears that a human was beaten with sticks and bricks and hung form a tree. That's horrible to think about but would be an excellent story to end the series on. They should've made more of it.
