I wish they would show this at my school in an assembly where attendance and paying attention was mandatory. We have drugs, sex, violence, and more pregnant teenagers than I can count. I feel horrible that my friend came to me the first day of his Freshman year and said, "I just saw a girl and she's pregnant! She's 14!" I just looked at him and said, "Welcome to high school." That should never be a response. What happened to school is a Safe Place?

One week at a Youth Group they were showing this and invited everyone from town. Not many people came. I don't see why they didn't. It's a good movie and they should show it at school and church and everywhere. I'm suprised they don't. Recomended by me to everyone out there.

It'll be a lot harder for you to adjust to talking to people and sharing how you feel (I went through this too), you'll also have to think a lot harder than other people to filter ehat you say, and to choose your words wisely.
I get to see this movie tomorrow at school, and I think its a great reminder of us teens and how we can use God to power us and strengthen us to make the wise decisions for ourselves and others :D

At my advanced training with the Army, we wached this video for our suicide prevention brief, one of several briefings. My training NCO used to be a Wiccan and he PICKED this movie. Not long after I reached out to my roommate, got her involved with my friends, took the time to care about her, after I graduated she was still there but she was happy and social, I found out out later that she had written a suicide note not long before I reached out to her. Pay attention to the people around you.

there are soooo many goddamn plot holes in this movie. every character is a dynamic character, like 10 damn subplots and so many climaxes. the characters are all over dramatized and the writing is horrific. theres more drama in this movie than there ever will be in real life. in short, great morals dont always make a good movie. they ment good when they made this movie, but sadly, they didnt make the movie as good as it could be. and it was shitty.

i got this movie for christmas, because i hadn't seen it yet & it looked incredibly GREAT in the previews i saw at the FCA meeting at school, the previews at MADCOW church gathering, & everywhere i saw it. I just watched it, & i feel like we should all take lesson from this movie. it's soooo true? do you see how alike it is to your school, your town, your surroundings? you never see people like 'Jake' now a days. i think i'm going to start being the 'jake' of my town, my school,my surroundings.

This movie should be in my mail box by tomorrow. :) I just ordered it from Netflix. Can not wait! I never really thought much about the movie when it was all over the Christian catolages I recieve. Then, I came across the trailer here on youtube, thinking how much I need to see it. Can't wait to see it.

this was one of the greatest movies ive ever seen. i loved how the story line was so much different than i expected. it has a great message and makes me want to become a better person for sure.

Just saw this movie today. It was just amazing. They really should let kids watch this in schools. It was really powerful message and they sent it in a great way.

there are soooo many goddamn plot holes in this movie. every character is a dynamic character, like 10 damn subplots and so many climaxes. the characters are all over dramatized and the writing is horrific. theres more drama in this movie than there ever will be in real life. in short, great morals dont always make a good movie. they ment good when they made this movie, but sadly, they didnt make the movie as good as it could be. and it was shitty.

I think that if everyone in high school showed so compassion for the outcast of classmates not in their inner circles that life would be different for those involved in horrible school accidents. Whether or not they are cool and whether or not they believe in a higher power.

@lifesong000000001 it is definately worth the money, we watched it at church, and there were many people that were crying, and it impacted all of us soo much. I'm buying two copies, for church and friends to see, so yes, I'd buy one if I were you! You will love it!

This is the first movie I could actually relate to, because I felt like the guy who cut himself. And no one ever gave me a chance until I grew out of that. But what if someone had reached out to me? It would've been amazing to feel liked.

i got this movie for christmas, because i hadn't seen it yet & it looked incredibly GREAT in the previews i saw at the FCA meeting at school, the previews at MADCOW church gathering, & everywhere i saw it. I just watched it, & i feel like we should all take lesson from this movie. it's soooo true? do you see how alike it is to your school, your town, your surroundings? you never see people like 'Jake' now a days. i think i'm going to start being the 'jake' of my town, my school,my surroundings.
