Just a heads up for people who don't know, they're releasing a big extension pack of this game. It's called Utage and it features 14 new playable characters, a bunch of new stages, new powerup meters, and many new game modes including vs. mode.

And it's only available in Japan only.

@wittynameguy N3 is pretty meh as far as hack and slash games go. The sequel is miles ahead of it. Sengoku Basara is the best choice though

Just nice, slashing around and upgrading your character, seems cool so far. going to keep my eye out for Bleach which i heard is similar to this one. So far im really enjoying sengoku.

Game dynamics is even better in multiplayer. You get to race, co-op, and sometimes - youve got to do both. We had a lot of fun me and my brother. Sure is one game we'll remember as we grow older. Just like mariokart ;p

English voice acting fails, does this game come with an option to switch to the Japanese voices with english subs? Cuz I really have a pet peeve or Americans constantly mispronouncing and butchering every Japanese word they can. Sengoku Basara isn't that hard to pronounce either, it's a long title sure, so Basara or SB would do fine. But if you just sound it out, it's really not that hard. Would be nice if they called it Sengoku Basara 3 like they do in Japan.

Unfortunately no because while the PS3 version would be more than capable to contain both voice tracks and that Capcom obviously has more than enough money to afford the rights to the tracks, Capcom did not include the Japanese voice track in the American version of the game since the Wii version does not have enough space for it and Capcom wanted it to be fair for both users............ yeah I know. <_<

The English voices aren't that bad though. No need to be a weeaboo about it.

i was a huge fan of dynasty warriors all the way from 2 till 5 and am now onto this and the samurai warriors series, the only problem with samurai warriors is so many of the characters have terrible move sets and musou attacks. dynasty warriors 5 is my pick of the lot

i have just finished all of the charsctors 1st and 2nd playthrews and i have had a lot of fun doing so. This has taken me around 130 hours. I got this on my b-day as a gift to myself last week. I walked into Play N Trade, was looking around then saw the game trailer on the screen. I was like "What is that?" The guy at the store told me it was his new favorite game. I was hesitant as hell cause i never played Dynasty Warriors. And even when I first put it in was like, "I don't like this" cause I was expecting Devil May Cry. But this is different. Once I got where this game was coming from I fell in love with it. It's so fun! :D

Havent you noticed the dynasty warriors game covers the whole period of time its focusing on, and the basara games cover a small portion of theirs? First it was nobunagas entry into the warring stats, then hideyoshis takeover, and finally mitsunri and ieyasus battle. Its a single storyline.
