This really made me emotional. I have been through so much of the things that were illustrated in this this skit. I've been looking for a skit to do with the youth at our church. I was drawn to this one for some reason. Now I know. Our youth are faced with these temptations alot more than we realize. Peer pressure is on the rise like never before. Oh my gosh, I'm a Christian and it speaks volumes to ME! It's so easy to get enticed by other things, maybe not life-threatening like drugs, but even things that compete with God priority wise like intense feelings for a person or persons. My Drama Team leader just called me and sent me to this video because he's interested in doing this later on. yea, this video speakes a ton! but im sorry. i just feel that often as christians we are lied to a lot. every time i see i skit like this i know its a reality but what about the people who don't believe and are just fine? why is it that we always portray unbelievers as people going through alcohalism, drugs, and contemplating suicide? there are tons of people that don't believe but are just fine? yes, this does show the power of God but is rarely practical. not all unbelievers are THIS broken.

I know how you feel, Julie. I was the unpopular kid in school, and to want to wear the nice long skirts/dresses when I was in high school was doggone near a sin to others. Even my aunt preached at me about how I should wear things "in style" . It wasn't until I was in the Air Force stationed at my 3rd base that I finally was made to feel (by my military sponsor) that people would accept me no matter WHAT I wear. well, He doesnt allow us, we choose to do these things ourselves. We turn away from Him & go after our own desires. He's always there for us, from the begining. like in this drama Jesus was standing there all the time, even before she went through all that mess, but she kept ignoring Him. And He didnt save her until she wanted to be saved herself! :)

Great concept except for the domestication by religion bit.

It is funny that people have to trade addictions for another seemingly better. Well in this case it is better. I guess being domesticated is better but you can never really be in inner peace that way, which for me is true happiness.
