  • Why the hell do I keep watching revealing clips on youtube..

  • Uncle Jr. was the boss the whole time

  • you two ran north jersey. wow, that is really megalomania.

the mafia does not run acountry. there are criminal assholes in the background, who steal and rob and murder, but the do not "run" anything, they do not create anything.there are just pieces of shit and they end like everyone else.

  • @captain2ahab it used to be different than it is now.

  • This scene cracks me up everytime. Juniors' expressions make me laugh, plus the fact he doesn't have his teeth in aswell. It's sad as shit too, love the way he says "hello" and "i'm confused" Great scene from a great show.

  • One of the most emotional moments of the show. Tony, knowing that his sister could not be trusted with raising and financially providing Bobby's kids, goes to his forgotten uncle. So sad. Janice is such a terrible human being.

  • Best scene in Sopranos.

  • You and my dad use to run north jersey. I love that line.

  • He forgot all about "this thing of ours."

  • Such a sad sad scene. Now Uncle Junior is completely gone lost, and will probably die soon afterwards. Its a far cry from the flamboyant singer and lover boy from earlier episodes.

  • It's saddening yet unforgiving in this last scene between Tony and Uncle Junior.

"You and my Dad. You two ran north jersey."

    "We did?"

    "Yeah."

"Oh...well that's nice," replies Junior, then uncaringly looks back out the window.

It reflected back to Tony that "this thing of ours" was stolen, bribed, and fought over for nothing. It didn't matter in the end.

  • IMO this is the best scene in the entire series, it perfectly encapsulates the essence of what The Sopranos is about; the bleak, stark, un-compassionate reality that is life and our modern condition. Most of us at the end of the day, when our guard is down, are Junior alone and confused.

  • this blew tonys head off mentally

  • what the fuck you want?

  • This scene is so sad. I don't wanna get old and forget who my love ones are. Sad fact of life when you get old

  • Thanks for sharing this. One of the top 3 greatest scenes in the entire series. Uncle June played this scene so good that I still don't know if he really knew who Tony was or if he was faking it. "fuck you want, a boutinere??"

  • @RPexpozed I agree. A very well-acted scene.

  • Seems like Junior knew who Tony was at the beginning of the clip

  • Hello :)

  • Junior puts the hit on Tony, his THIRD try.

  • I don't get how Tony was so bitter towards Junior for shooting him but didn't seem to care anymore about the failed attempt on his life in Season 1 which was ordered by a fully aware and decisive Junior.

  • this, shoulda been the final scene. epic !!!

  • "you don't know who I am do yer?" -- goosebumps..

  • 2:56 does Tony start to cry!?

  • This Scene really tore me apart, Junior labled as boss...withered away into a shell of s shell of a man...from "we gotta have something done about your son", to "a man from another galaxy came here" From the singing in the diner to sitting in a wheel chair! Junior Soprano may not have been kind, but this scene even the people who hated him most had to feel some compassion! Very well done scene, Best series to grace television!

  • Kinda ironic that Junior Soprano's brother's name was Johnny & 30 some-odd years ago Dominic Chianese (Corrado) played Johnny (Ola) in The Godfather 2.

  • To answear a question somebody said in a previouse comment its funny how that person was fine one minute then completly lost who they were the next.Thats what happens with Dementia it can take your personality,Identity,Soul and Integrity believe me withing months if it is in advance stages let alone years.Ive seen it happen and its tragic to watch strong figures from your life fade away like that and see shades of what was once.Thats the rise and fall of us all.

  • Sad at the end to see Uncle Junior reduced to a shadow of his former self but thats what happens in life.Fitting for a final episode.

  • Eventual fate of all men. Great or small. No one gets out of here alive.

  • Am I going crazy... or was Juniors actor in one of the Godfather films?

  • @AbridgedPenguin yep he played Johnny Ola in Godfather 2!

  • @TaffTalk lol

  • @TaffTalk wow hehe aren't we pessimistic?

  • Poor Junior. he was one of the most charismatic character on the show and now he ends up alone.

  • I've said this before in another video with a good scene or tony and junior, but I really really have hatred for David Chase and the writers with their treatment of Junior and ton'y relation, and I just find it sick and disgusting how Jr ends up in the show with the demenitia and the shooting of Tony and him having no dignity at all, i can't even watch those scenes it disgusts me so much.

  • @TrentH190 but thats why you have to respect the writeers, look at how they've moved you and made you feel, thats what they were going for...life in the mafia aint fun n games...its reality

  • @afroman208 true, i do give the show that much respect, and it is one of my favorite television series ever

  • Greatest show ever hands down

  • @Instant100Classic The Wire says hello.

  • @SonnyA89 The Wire says hello to The Sopranos, the greatest show ever.

  • @JayT26 The Wire makes The Sopranos look like Full House. lmao

  • @SonnyA89 You have a Wire thin dick.

  • @JayT26 Choke on my cannoli you muthafucka. lmao

  • i can still never work out if junior was playing on the whole alzeimers thing, at times like when he beat the guy up in the home he seemed totally normal telling jokes, fighting then at other times hes going to look for johnny.

  • @2901Josh the point is when junior doesn't remember, and when just about all of his crew is dead, he has not a lot of people to remember the good ol mob times with. It's like his past is being erased. The older you get, the more you need people who knew you when you were younger.

  • Some people seem to miss the point, they don't see the whole picture, those who think tony does not forgive him or tony just walks away from him with no further care, refer back to earlier series. Junior orders the hit on tony, tony shifts the blame on to his mother and even lets junior off completely claiming he was manipulated. Tony shows more love for junior than any other character in the series he seeks his advice, acceptance and love. Ultimately, junior shot tony and tony must save face.

  • this scene is a tearmaker

  • 0:52: I love how even after so much misfortune, mental trauma, and loss of dignity, Corrado gets one final jab at Tony before resolving himself to being a ward patient for the few years remaining in his tragic life.

I missed the old Junior in the later seasons...

  • its really scary seeing someone you know lose their mind like that

  • This scene shows that while Jr. truly has lost his mind, he still has some residual memories left. When Tony says he who was and Jr. goes "What, do you want a boutineer," tells me that he still has a basic idea of who Tony was at that point, by acknowledging his ties to being Boss of the family. Also, looking at the final words spoken by Jr. "hum well thats nice" show forgiveness and that Jr. truly has memory lapses and is not himself as he once was.

  • @JoJo527 I look at it this way. memory comes and goes so parts of the conversation will seem that he remembers, like the part you mentioned with the boutonniere. Also, when he says 'that's nice'

I think he probably doesn't remember being in power at times but he knows it's a nice thing, owning North Jersey.

  • what a great scene with two great actors

  • you cant help but feel for coroddo

  • @serbin16m Yeah, you sort of can help it considering that if Corrado ever heard oh, say something like, "The price of the chemicals in the human body is $9.1 million", he'd try to figure out some way to sell you piece by piece, protein by protein. The guy's a psychopath, empty of empathy. I can hear Paulie saying something about a "motherless fuck", but I think "soulless fuck" might work just as well in Junior's case.

  • this scene is painful .

  • this scene was stunning

  • This scene breaks my heart. Although he forgave uncle june he should never have walked away like that ...should have hugged the old guy or something.....anyway hell of a scene.....

  • This thing of ours...

  • He remindes me on my grandpa who is also old and senile. Its touching scene and very emotional for me.

  • I never knew if Junior was playing with Tony or if he really is gone.

  • Johnny Ola!!! Freaking good actor.

  • You and my dad ran North Jersey...

    ... that's nice.

So little dialogue that says so much.

  • @Pancakeshouse85 Right on. He told Jr. a million things just sayin that

  • "You and Johnny Boy used to run North Jersey". Haunting words. Corrado Soprano's decline from a Don to a old crook who don't even know who he is... like the Cosa Nostra itself... once a powerhouse crime enterprise, with the likes of Lucky Luciano and Frank Costello running New York from behind the curtains, and now it's just a pale shadow of what it was... but, like Corrado in the end, still alive and breathing, somehow...

  • @rafaelsccp dude, nice analogy!

  • what a series it was... we miss it so much. legend!

  • These last scenes are so depressing. I can't see this without fucking crying

  • I was involved with that?

  • I always loved how Tony gave Uncle Junior the memory of him and Johnny running North Jersey, after all Tony had been through with him, he still had the heart to give Uncle Junior a memory of when he was young and tough.

  • 'this thing of ours'

  • What a show.... nothing will ever compare to the Sopranos

  • Corrado got his karma; was a miserable old c***!

  • @idideroo Excuse me?

  • I think it's a bit odd that earlier in this season, corrado was energetic and seemed healthy, and all of a sudden he is a total mess physically, and it seems his memory is totally lost. But I still get the feeling Junior faked it to not have to take responsibility for shooting his nephew. Fuckin snake, I wish he would have been whacked.

  • @sucramnormark of course he's a mess, that asian kid beat the shit out of him.

  • best show ever made right here. and for some reason, out of the whole series this was my favorite scene.

  • Sad to see Jr like that, and Tony tear up after realizing Jr is gone...mentally.

  • lol "there's a man from another galaxy that came here"

  • This scene is so sad, gives me tears in my eyes:-(

  • Carrado was badass that sucks that they baisicly killed off his character by makeing him get senile

  • we used to play catch

  • I love Junior one of my favorite character with Ade and Chris

  • great scene. Miss this show loads.

  • he say "me as head of the family I'll hold on to it as a guardian"

  • damn i wish the sopranos series wouldve never ended, fav. all time for sure!

  • If there was ever a time to say "Oh, how the mighty have fallen!", it's now.

  • "te la ricordi Cosa Nostra? Tu e mio padre...comandavate il New Jer.sey......"

  • he was a badass, you should shut the fuck up.

  • :'(

  • i olmost cried here...

  • this scene made me cry.

  • this is pretty sad his mind is blank.......

  • Could someone tell me what Tony says?

    - Me I never had kids.

    - You remember where your stash is you let Uncle Pat know. ********** as a guardian for Bobby's kids. You remember Bobby?

    - Sure.

    - You don't know who I am, do you?

  • r3miPL:

He said "Me, as the head of the family, I'll hold on to it for Bobby's kids."

  • me as the head of the family something i will guard for bobby kids

  • me as the head of the family ill hold on to it as a guardian for bobbys kids

  • i THINK he says "when he is the head of the family I'll hold onto it as a guardian"

  • @r3miPL Me as the head of the family i'll hold onto it as a guardian for bobby's kids.

  • my second favourite scene in the sopranos

  • Junior Soprano looks like the creepy Six Flags Great Adventure Guy

  • Hey Joe,i saw you at 0:58 and 2:56!Thank you very much for sharing with us your experience working with these great actors!Wish you many great collaborations in the feature like this one!

  • FYI, I played that crazy person sitting down. It took 2 days to film that scene. We shot in this creepy old mental hospital. It was really cool sitting right next to Tony and Junior while they were doing the scene. It was a nothing part, I know, but I was honored to be working on my favorite show and being on set for the last few days of shooting. Thanks for posting. Peace!

  • @joeremy302 Why did it take two days...?!

  • @GarsinX - That scene had a lot of camera angles and edits I am guessing. However, after the first day of shooting it looked like they had everything but who knows what they needed to get on the second day. I was just glad for the work. Thanks for the question.

  • I love the dialog!

    "You two ran North Jersey."

    "We did?"

    "Yea"

    "...That's nice."

  • Why did he cry?

  • One of the most memorable scenes of the entire series, no pun intended. Thanks for posting.

  • 40 000 I think ..

  • Great scene even the crazy guy on the chair did a great job.

  • tony crying OMG!!!

  • great scene

  • James Gandolfini what an actor - I felt touched cos Tony Soprano forgave Junior for the shooting. As long as Tony was alive Junior would be looked after

  • He never forgave junior for it, are u kidding?

  • Your obviously not a intelligent viewer of the Sopranos. Of course he's not going to say I forgive you. He forgave him by trying to remind him of the great man Uncle Junior once was. Tony didnt go in with the intention of making peace our settling the score with Uncle Junior, but he did by the end. Watch Tonys face.

  • all i hear is bitch.

  • You wont get a insult back. Im sorry but I dont insult our bully the secerly mentally handicapped. You take care you hear.

  • @martinwilliamrandall

Looked after? Don't talk shit, he cut off all support after the shooting.

  • @thestranger4812 After seeing him like this. Tony realises it wasnt Junior who really shot him at all but the senile dementre/ the alseimers. So here he forgives him. Watch & listen & watch & listen to it properly.

  • corrado's my fav charecter

  • i feel bad for junior
