It wasn't a good book it was an awesome book. I'm obessed with it and drake :). I read it 13 times. Hunger 5 times. Lies May 4, and I jeard for Uk May 1st or something like that, well I got it preordered.

Hi babygurl - yes this is the UK trailer. We're a bit behind the US so Hunger is only released in the UK in January 2010. What did you think of the trailer?

This trailer is awesome. I like it much better than the US one. The US trailer made it look like a cheesy kid's book, rather than the awesomely intense young adult book it is.

@thebabygurl93 i agree! this one and the hunger trailer are both so much more engaging without any talking. they tell so much without saying a word, like "read this book right now!!" i absolutely LOVE the hunger trailer. it is beyond cool, with their silhouettes, and the "hungry in the dark" whispers in the background. gives me chills!

This trailer is awesome. The US trailer I did not like, because it was extremely cheesy and made it look like a little kid's book, rather than the amazing young adult novel it is.

The American version has the children disappear when they get to 14. We made them one year older in the UK.

I think you'd be amazed what you can achieve at 14 years old if you had to!

I just checked and the kids are 'Gone' when they reach 15 in the UK (so all the characters are 14 or under).

In the US all of the kids are 'Gone' if they are older than 14 (so all the characters are 13 or under).

Maybe you have a UK edition? does it have a black cover?

No mine has the blue cover with Sam and Astrid on the cover. I just checked and I'm sure that it's 15. Thats weird mine is like that...

The US covers, so far, have different people on the front. The UK covers are black with just the word Gone, or Hunger, written on it.

We prefer the UK one, but then we made it, so I guess we would!

This trailer is for the UK version of Gone - it came out in Hardback on April 6th and will be out in paperback on September 7th. In the UK the next book Hunger will come out in April 2010 but in the US the next book is coming out on the 26th of May (That's the one with Cane and Diana on the front).

This is probably one of the best book trailers I've ever seen. Most are so low budget they do more harm than good. The American trailer for GONE is a good example of what not to do. Great job Egmont. I've read the book and you did it justice.

But it's for a new version that's coming out May 6? That's what I gather from my random sources of information.

Book 2 is coming MAY 26 (says Amazon)! And yeah, it is called HUNGER. It's got an orange cover with Caine and Diana (i think) chillin on the front and everything.

Awesome trailer, anyway! Way better than that other one...
