WAW was, and will be my favourite CoD game. I've bought it after release of Blops and i completly loved it. Dark feeling from WWII, much better single player, gore and deep feeling on mp. Heads down to best WW2 Call of Duty ever.

People were sent to siberia only because they were captured by Germans and were living in horrible concentration camps, and when they got released from that nightmare and the time they needed their motherland the most, they were sent to prison. The Finnish were outnumbered by about like 10 to 1, and they somehow demoralized Russian so many soldiers, fact is, most Russians fighting back then were just guys pulled out of their homes, given (well, 1 of every 5 of them) a gun, and expected to fight.

It's not "no fear", it's the fact that if they ran away, they would have been taken and shot by the NKVD (their own "countrymen"), even some highly awarded Soviet soldiers found in POW camps were enslaved for being in German hands.
