Przynajmniej Polacy uczą sie w szkołach jezyków: niemiecki, rosyjski i angielski,a nie te angole co myśla, że ich jezyk jest "the best" potrafia gadac tylko jednym jezykiem. Mozliwie, że nasz polski jezyk brzmi śmiesznie, ale inni go nie rozumieją... Ja rozumiem Czechów bo niektóre słówka mają podobne, ale zdaje mi sie, że sa śmieszniejsze.

Mam dopiero prawie 15lat i dogadałabym się juz dobrze z anglikiem. nie potrzebuję tłumacza. Jak sie rozumie dany jezyk to nie jest on Funny ...

I am a pole in the united states. I was born here and raised by my Polish parents. I think of my self as a %100 Polish because i speak and write in the language fluently. I also know spanish, serbio-croatian, as well as bosnian, and some russian. I love Poland but dont agree with the fact we dont speak other languages than english, but i aslo agree that polish is very very hard and you have to speak it on a daily basis inorder not to forget. After the age of 11 neurons which are responsible for language acquisition stop firing and make learning languages more difficult. Also studies have shown that after Chinese POlish is the most difficult language to learn.

I'm polish and every time I meet a new English person they think I was born in England because I don't have an accent. Not all Polish people have accents and if they do they're definitely not something to laugh about. The moment you will be able to say at least one Polish word with the correct pronunciation you can start to laugh at other people's accents. I think it's alright to laugh if some1 speaks funny or have a funny accent. If you're not laughing at someones face that is of course. I'm polish and IMO my English is pretty good but I like to talk from time to time with different accents (my own Polish as well) just for fun. I work in Birmingham so I've got a lot of occasions to take the piss out of Brummies and the way they talk. And I don't miss a chance to laugh at posh Londoners, northerners, Irish, Scottish, Indian or Jamaicans.

@michalmichal11 Believe me, it has nothing to do with who you are, I've taught hundreds of people English, I have a decent accent, and I'm a Pole. It has to do with your willingness to "seem silly" (start using "strange" sounds - most people are too embarrassed), having a good ear (I'm not sure that's something you're born with, but some people "just have" it), and the willingness to learn the accent. Not all people want to nor need to (legible pronunciation is actually fine, I guess)
