Second the bible chapters is hand picked by man, written by man, and translated by men. Usually, when you see two different numberings for the Psalms it means that one is the numbering for the Masoretic text (hebrew version from theh 10th century A.D.) and the other from the Septuagint text (Greek version from around 200 B.C.). In your case, it appears that the Septuagint (sometimes prefixed LXX) is represented in the parenthesis.

Which canon of the bible are you talking about? Here's a little fact next time you put something out. The bible you read is a cannon. There are revisions with chapters taken out from the original. The final is incomplete. If you count the letters and spaces, the middle word is Fact.

how many ways can you say that? many times the supposed disagreeing statements are merely re-wording of the same thing. as for the king james, it is the only version who's history is signed in blood. it is also the only version that attempts to give a literal word for word representation (in english) of the original languages. it is not perfect but no other version can share this distinction.

Which canon of the bible are you talking about? Here's a little fact next time you put something out. The bible you read is a cannon. There are revisions with chapters taken out from the original. The final is incomplete. If you count the letters and spaces, the middle word is Fact.

A man who was out in his boat, ran into a storm. His boat sank, but he was able to make it to a deserted island. He prayed & trusted God would save him. A helicopter spotted him and asked if he'd like a ride home; he replied, "No, God will save me." Two days later a cargo ship spotted him and asked take him home. He replied, "No, God will save me." A few weeks passed and he died. He asked GOD "Why didn't you save me?" GOD replied, "I sent a helicopter and a ship, but you didn't accept my help!"

. God gave us free will and we abused that, now we are dealing with the consequences. If everyone lived by God's Word (the Bible) and "loved their neighbor as themselves" we could end world hunger. The Bible tells us to tithe 10% of our income to the Church, if everyone did that it would be more than enough to end World hunger. It is because of the evil of the world that people suffer. God answers prayers but he can't answer prayers for people who aren't willing to accept them.

If you take on any one of the Christian denominations and you think your clan is the one and only, considering Christianity (all denominations included) is only 33% of the world. . Hell has to be crowded! And tithe 10% haha!!! If these greedy churches gave more of it up that would be a start! Crazy ass people.

In school we're learning about stories predating the bible, like Gilgamesh. Most interesting is something my teacher said that almost resembled a corporate monopoly. Now i'm not expert on this subject (still in HS) but really if you look at the predating religions to the bible, you will see that the the bible took parts from other religions, reworded them and then used the idolized gods of them and turned them into evil (an example is the pagan horned god, which you may know as the devil)

C'mon ya'll.This is all dependent on which translation you use.There are no originals to look at.We only have copies.The King James Bible is not the only translation,and none of them agree totally with each other to boot!!!

how many ways can you say that? many times the supposed disagreeing statements are merely re-wording of the same thing. as for the king james, it is the only version who's history is signed in blood. it is also the only version that attempts to give a literal word for word representation (in english) of the original languages. it is not perfect but no other version can share this distinction.

Does that apply to the Catholic Bible, Eastern Orthodox Bible, Oriental Orthodox Bible, or Protestant bible? As we know, they all differ on what constitutes 'the bible', with the Protestant bible being the shortest and the Oriental Orthodox being the longest bible.
