  • Tori singin' Led Zeppelin is sucha turn on. Great GREAT cover!

  • GORGEOUS... I love how she smiles here, she totally shows her passion... And I prefer this version than the original one ;)

  • murdered that..................

  • I don't normally like anyone covering Zeppelin but this is damn good.

  • Pause the video, press play and press #6 - it's brill.

  • Hey she is great. If you want to see another greatest cover of thank you check out Tesla, it's sublime. PEACE, Rick

  • mountains crumble to the sea...there would still be you and me...

  • Tori was inspired by Led Zeppelin and Robert Plant NOT by Kate Bush and people don't realize this because they're ignorant. Tori is beautiful and original.

  • @iLoveBillHicks86

Tori actually heard Kate's 1985 album Hounds Of Love before she was in Y Kant Tori Read, and said she was deeply affected by that album. Tori's said herself that she was influenced by Kate as both a producer and an artist.

  • My favorite cover ever.

  • Non mi stancherò mai di osservare quanto sia brava. Nei suoi tributi ai Led Zeppelin poi.....

  • Thanks :) Tori was extraordinary then and she's extraordinary now; still "here in my head like the sun coming out". Great to see how she is still appreciated, loved and understood.

  • I love how tori *smiles* in some of her performances ~~ it's like she is happy to be connecting with some higher life force ~ xo

  • NIceeeee!!!!

  • A bit shocking to see her playing the old Yamaha CP-80 Electric Grand Piano. I wonder what she thought when she showed up for the gig and was told she would be playing that instead of say a 9-ft Bosendorfer. Don't get me wrong, I love those old Yamaha's (the "Peter Gabriel/Genesis piano sound) but I doubt this was her idea. Still sounds remarkably good though. The closest I have ever heard one of these coming to a real grand piano and it suits this song.

  • @mfitz1969 This was before Little Earthquakes came out. She hadn't bought her big baby yet.

  • @TaylorRama This is the 1991 Montrose festival, she was probably using the "house" piano.

  • i've been listening to this song for 3 days non-stop....i dedicate it to the person who stabbed me in the back and ran away...........this song expresses my feelings for you........

  • Can't get enough of this...so expressive of what I feel for my greatest love of 31 years and counting... Thank You so much Tori Amos. <3

  • I love the way she covered this song. It's totally touching and mindblowing.

  • Yes, I was immediately and permanently hooked when I heard 'Crucify' when it was first released. However, I saw 'Thank you' listed here and thought of my all-time favourite Led Zep song - and for a laugh I thought I'd click on it. I was most surprised when it actually was what I had hardly dared hope it was going to be. Is there anybody who can make covers like Tori - Boomtown Rats, Stranglers, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Waits covers she has done. I can't wait for Slayer's Rain in Blood.

  • thank you tori.!!!!

  • So nice to see a woman who has somehow retained her soul.

  • It makes me cry everytime I listen to it! Such a beautiful cover...

  • I adore the original, yes...but Tori does a superb job as only Tori can!

  • there would still be ..you and me baby ooh yeah :)

  • What it is, I think, to experience an Ecstasy, as explained by certain Saints and Shamans accounting, for us, their visual, outer-body Spiritual-Religious Ecstasies and how that experience resonated in their spirit, then Soul. SO Beautiful, the way Tori Amos performs this song!

  • I am walking down the Aisle to this version in August xxxxx

  • @barklioni That's fabulous! :-)

  • @barklioni- I want to say congratulations on you marriage! I have dreamed so many times of using this song as a tribute to my husband (I have been married 20 years). Tori makes this song so romantic and inspiring as a couple enters into a marriage! If I could go back 20 years, this would be my wedding song ------hands down!!!!! I love Tori so much, so kudos to you for selecting one of her renditions of a beautiful song! I wish you the best!

  • @barklioni Congratulations on your marriage. You are living my dream of having this song as you walk down the aisle!!! I have been married for 20 years and would love to make this song a tribute to my marriage! I wish you the best because obviously you have incredible taste!

  • how gorgeous! this is my fave love song of all time and Tori does a fantastic cover of this Zeppelin classic!

    :)

  • Wow, I was thinking about my husband and missing him tonight. This song always makes me think of him and cry. I clicked on this one and you posted it the day after he died.

  • your post made me cry... I am so sorry he is no longer with you.... *hugs*

  • This is beautiful...

I'm impressed by how different Led Zep's, Cornell's and her's version sound. Love them all

  • I've loved her since the first moment I heard 'Crucify' on the radio (yes, they played her on radio then!) all those years ago. These Montreal sessions are really the Holy Grail of Tori; a series of amazing performances. Great to see her in sing with such passion and joy. Explains the early love. Lucky Montreal.

  • @breedak I Agree! Love Her Soooo.....oooohhhhh....my my!

  • @breedak I couldnt have said it better ^5

  • @breedak I agree, this is indeed the most beautiful I've seen Tori...memories.

  • @monimarz She is beautiful and so gifted. Tori is Art in the sense it is truly meant to be perceived and understood, capital deliberate. She's not an easy interpretation, thank god, you go back and back; an endless catalogue of reappreciated event and discovery. I do hope that she hasn't become too cynical to know that and to know that we know it too.

  • I actually heard this version 1st and I adore it...later hearing Led Zeps original version...I have to say that it doesn't take away how I feel about her doing it..it's a fab. cover, really is.

  • Yes, Thank You! :)

  • THANK YOU for posting this!

  • This song! Chills. Just gorgeous. She does it absolute justice! (Some of her covers are better than originals... of course not the Led Zep ones ;->)

  • I forget what CD this is on but when I heard it ( knowing the Led Zeplin version) I heard it in a new way. It has such a precious place in my heart.

  • It's from the album 'Crucify'. She does a beautiful version of 'Angie' on that album too.

  • its nearly impossible not fall in love whit her seeing this...she is gorgeous

  • in this years she enjoyed what her do, in the most recent videos she doesnt look that happy, almost this is what i think, she is the most beatyfull female singer that i ever heared, music, heart, melody, lirics, all its perfect

sorry for my english, im from argentina

  • MAGNIFICENT

  • i love her and this led zep song. fantastic

  • This is going to be my wedding song. The Zeppelin version, though.
