Hoy en día se encucha en gran parte de centroamérica. En méxico en muy popular en Quintana Roo, A quí en Chetumal se baila en bodas, 15 años etc. por ser frontera con belice hay mucha influencia de musica afrocaribeña. Byron lee se presenta frecuentemente en las discos de chetumal. Saludos
