  • Magnifico.........1 dos filmes mais belos que vi:-))

  • i hate the movie, so inacurate

  • So much pain, feeling and emotion put into this.

Amazing how music can make you cry, isn't it?

  • So much pain, feeling and emotion put into this..

Amazing how music can make you cry.

  • Shut up in a tomb. Can't lift the lid. Playing a role I never concieved. - Lt. Col. Gordon Tall

  • @LSD108 Nick Nolte's best role by far imo

  • 1:35 - 2:30 gives me goosebumps every time

  • George Clooney didn't have much of a part in the movie. He only showed up for five minutes just to explain to his men that he would be their new father... (er CO)

  • Red Line > Private Ryan..... much more....

  • @marito271 Very True. In all honesty, The thin red line open to all of us how war was like in the Pacific region of the thick tropical jungles. Man would go crazy after a week of continuous heavy rain and fighting.

  • Hans Zimmer surprising once more. Nothing better than such a beautiful soundtrack to follow one of the best war movies ever

  • was this movie actually shot in Solomon Islands on Guadalcanal??

  • @88Tagana I believe it was shot in the Marshall Islands.

  • @Coletrain224

No, its was shot in Queensland.

  • @Jammed9000 They did film in the Solomon Islands

  • @Coletrain224 they filmed in Port Douglas (oz) and Solomon islands )

  • @88Tagana - I believe Malick at one point did plan on shooting the movie on Guadalcanal, but the logistical challenges were too daunting (and then there was the fact that half of the cast & crew would almost certainly get malaria in the process). There are a few scenes shot on Guadalcanal, but most of the movie was filmed in NE Australia.

  • @LibertyNow1775 oohhkkk thats fair enough, thanks for the info.....cheers

  • @88Tagana

No it was shot in Queensland Australia.

  • 4.00 to 5.09 looks like a part of a Mozart's Requiem love it !

  • Nice video Randal Patrick McMurphy. Say hello to Chief for me, and don't forget to tell that Nurse Rachet to go to Hell.

That's the last time she'll keep us from watching the World Series... bitch.

  • Zimmer and Morricone are two great composers. Neither is better than the other. If they were both here today, they would sip wine together and enjoy cinema.

  • sI , NO HAY NADIE NI HABRA NADIE COMO hANS ZIMMER

  • Hans Zimmer is the best!!

Riflettiamo tutti!!!

  • i like this sound track ..but my favorite sound is from the movie "THE ROCK" 1996 hans zimmer

  • parts of this piece are almost reminiscent of the days of heaven soundtrack

  • how beautiful gay.

  • There have been made may a good war flick through the years, but none has ever had the impact on me as this one does, I highly recommend this movie, it is a stirring swirl of emotion and carnage, showing the absurdity of war...worth repeated viewings.

  • sad it was over shadowed by saving private ryan they came out the same year

  • movies taken as an art form, this PISSES all over saving private ryan, imho

  • Yes that's true. It didn't get the Accolade it deserved. I hope Clint makes another, he's by far the best WWII director. The story of Okinowa needs to be told.

  • This was the better.

  • No hay... película más grande!

  • The beginning is most beautiful.

  • the ending was awesome too. IMO the very final scene (with the shrub thing coming out of the water) was simply magical.

  • Take your pills boy, settle down.

  • @radic14

ya the problem was that they werent used the right way

  • thanx...why do we fight???

  • Isn't that the question the movie itself asks? ironic

  • @GerouHouse No, Ennio Morricone is the best!

  • Hans Zimmer is just great!!

  • Starting 3.30 - most beautiful music of all

  • @snapcount321 ... definitely agreed

    Verdaderamente hermosa.

    Sinceramente emotiva.

Honesta muestra de arte y vida.

  • Esta música es totalmente maravillosa
