@CalebJz13 it means from your toe edge(edge facing your toes) you transfer your weight to a regular stance as if you were just going strait, your snowboard would be flat on the ground and not tilted to a toe side or heel side.
@CalebJz13 You need to release the toe edge, by increasing pressure to your front foot and rotating/pointing your upper body downhill. This will allow your snowboard to release the toe edge and the board will go to a flat base and point downhill.
@Firestormify You might have a Twin snowboard which means both the sides are the same. If your snowboard has writing or patterns, check what direction they are facing and then you could determine which end is which
If you are regular, your left foot should be on the nose or tip side. To determine for sure which side is the nose, just take a tape measure and check the distance from the center of each binding to the end of the board. The longer of the two is the tip and the shorter the tail. Usually there is a difference of about 2 inches.

@boardworld can u help me?! 2nd time boarding.my problem,at the top facing down hill (goofy) put pressure on my right foot automatically always turn right end up straight in fall line go way to fast scare my self, lose control & fall! when i start out if i look right i start to go but always end up in the fall line & going super fast!so i end up just breaking the whole time!! how should i start out?
@Eliheartsmilo Hey, we can definitely help you. Please go to our website and register an account. Come onto the 'FORUMS' and ask your question there. We have a lot of snowboard instructors to help you and answer your questions.
@Eliheartsmilo: What youre probably doing as your turn starts is panicking at the speed and leaning back and away from the hill causing your board to speed up and lose steering. Start your turn with your weight on the front foot. As that begins to take you straight down the hill, point with your front arm where you want to go (your lower body will follow!) and shift your weight back evenly over both feet, this will turn your board. Now bend your knees and dig in your toe edge to stop the board!
very well explained - the important thing u can easy forget is the flattening of the board and just try to turn - its taking you down - hurts badly :D
finally i found a video without jumping.. backside to frontside riding, thats what i've failed to learn today

Sorry but rotating your upper part of a body isn't correct, all you do should be done with your legs. Bad lesson.
