@DanielleAndGabiShow Only the special edition (with the included coin) and apparently the vinyl (does the vinyl have the coin? also, are all vinyl scratch-off?) The regular edition, as some people pointed out, have the scratched-off image separately.

...the signatures are less visible but they're still awesome! If you want to be really original then you have the option of scratching it off however you want...don't scratch the whole thing! It looks really vintage and really cool :D

True story: I got my CD autographed by Ben and Andrew and I had no idea I was supposed to scratch it off...might explain Andrew's quizzical look...and then the next day I was very dismayed to see a couple scratch marks on the cover (I figured it must've been because I just stuffed it in my bag) and I thought "nooooo my precious!" so I never touched it again. A few days later I saw that my friend uploaded a picture of hers and it was scratched off, so I finally figured it out

@jjonah01 It scratches off like a scratch off lottery ticket, so anything will work. The coin is just a little piece of metal. I only chose to use it to scratch off the cover because it seemed like the right thing to do at the time. I don't think the standard edition has a scratch off cover.

I think MGMT probably deliberately made it that way so you would have the temptation on scratching but not scratching at the same time so it was possible that you would buy two.

I felt kinda sad about scratching mine off because I didn't know that the cat doesn't scratch off and I love the cat. I had no idea what it would like behind there before I scratched it off. Anyway, I finally did it. Reluctantly at first but when I found out that the cat was going to stay it made me feel better. In the end, though, it's real cool. I want to buy another one that isn't a scratch off. P.S. I want to turn the coin into a necklace.
